After the success of our first various artists release, ‘The Voice of EKOU’, we’d like to present to you our next installment, ‘The Full Spectrum’. This project started as an idea to create a platform for up and coming producers, however over the previous months has developed into something that has allowed us to include both newcomers and established artists alike. 
	
In the 2 and a half years since our first release, we’ve been on a constant journey through sound, and have been a platform for a variety of artists, all of whom produce a variety of styles under the drum & bass umbrella. With ‘The Full Spectrum’, we hope to showcase our journey for you, our audience; some of you have been with us from the beginning, others are new to the label - either way we hope you know what to expect!

This is our representation of the full spectrum of drum & bass, and what the genre means to us. We hope you enjoy listening to this massive VA just as much as we did putting it together. 

‘The Full Spectrum’ has 22 tracks, split over 2 parts, and features both newcomers and seasoned artists alike. Part 1 drops exclusively on February 4th via Bandcamp and Beatport, followed two weeks later by Part 2 on February 18th.

Our first Dispatch main label release of the year, Mako takes us into the next century, following the Dispatch 100 album with an aptly name release – ‘The 101 EP’.

Leading on from his ‘Back To The Source EP’ in 2014, Mako has been a huge favourite of ours, effortlessly engulfing everything we love about the past and the present, with a distinctive ability to create raw, incredibly authentic music, with a vibe that hits the emotions just as sweetly as the bottom end pressure hits your chest. 

At the helm, the EP is led by a mighty track, in ‘The Mercenary’ alongside Andy Skopes, having caused some serious damage since its inception, littered by tough breaks and searing lows. An endemic character of Mako’s music and the rugged beats continue right through the release, including the serene amen journey ‘Looking Back’ and the super tight drum programming of ‘A Break From Suspension’.

Commencing our next chapter in style, Mako brilliantly illustrates his agenda for the future, paying mutual homage to the old skool, whilst pushing the limits our technology today.

Total Science are back to grace their own imprint CIA Records, and this time they enlist the musical and technical prowess of fellow Bristol associates Hydro and War alongside themselves on The Reign EP.  Made up of four killer slabs of fast paced, moving and deep Drum & Bass, the influence of each party is immediately obvious in each track. Total Science are infamous for their breaks and rave influences that have often been present in their music since they first started releasing in the early 1990's. Hydro has been releasing music since 2003, working with a slew of respected producers such as Break, DLR, Naibu and Mako amongst many others. He is infamous for his epic sample collection and the deep vibes that he brings to tracks. And the young French extraordinaire War has already shown he is a force to be reckoned with, consistently releasing music with a sublime depth and musicality that belies his age - and also a power and punch that consistently rips clubs to shreds.  The Reign EP brings the finest attributes of each of the parties to the table, and results in a well-rounded collection of music that offers something to a wide range of listeners. Whether you want to lock them into a groove, tear the roof off the club, or get them thinking about what will come next in this world, The Reign EP has it in spades.
