Cosmology makes his long awaited return to Smooth N Groove Records with four brand new jams showcasing his unique style of drum & bass. Based out of Oxford, UK, Cosmology was exposed to music at an early age through listening to his dad play guitar in a local Jazz band. Introduced to electronic music by his brother through a DJ Ratty tape. Cosmology's appetite for music continued to grow and he started to produce his own music in 2008. Fast forward to 2024 and Cosmology has had multiple releases on some of the scenes most iconic labels, including, Good Looking, Formation Records, Phuzion Digital, Fokuz, Celsius, Infulenza, Flight Pattern and Soul Deep to name a few. Additionally, his productions have had heavy support throughout the years from LTJ Bukem, Fabio, EZ Rollers, Random Movement, DJ Marky and LSB.

Cosmology's unique production style is captured throughout the Morchella EP. From the smooth, deep and punchy bass lines in the title track, to the steppy drum patterns heard in 'Badman'.

The Cosmology 'Morchella' EP is out now and exclusively available from the Smooth N Groove Bandcamp page. Due to drop across all online stores 29th March.

1 New Beginnings

"New Beginnings" starts with a euphoric intro that sets the stage for this six-and-a-half-minute journey. The combination of dreamy pads and well-crafted jungle percussion creates a sense of nostalgia, and when the slamming amen drums and warm 808 bass line drop, listeners get transported back to circa 1994.

2 Body Move

"Body Move" delivers a sweet piece of music with a house music vibe that captures the essence of liquid drum and bass. The track oozes a bashy energy that will get bodies moving on the dance floor.

3 Information Overload

"Information Overload" marks his first foray into making a dirty roller, featuring driving percussion, oscillating bass, and haunting keys. The result is an eerie and hypnotic vibe that draws listeners into an intriguing sonic experience.

Outrage, aka Nomine, is known for his FAT productions in Dubstep and Drum and Bass. He's been rolling with Function Records since 2008 when Outrage and Resound produced Cryonize for Fist Of Fury EP.

Outrage is on a nice run at the moment! He produces some bangers for Function following his recent releases on Overshadow, a collab EP on Metalheadz with Sonar's Ghost and a tasty remix of Kosheen's 'Hide You'.
