One Synth Challenge featuring the Qyooo by Fullbucket aka Bjorn.

What to say except everything Bjorn (Fullbucket) does I love.  The chorus came to me within an hour or so of fooling with the synth.  The rest came piece by piece, but I feel like it fell in well.  

This came in at 18 instances total.  Some compression was used in order to help with some of the sculpting, particularly on the drums.   ModernSeventhSign and CamelCrusher are standouts there.

The inspiration of this track was something of a mystery.   It started with me suddenly jarred awake at 3am, so naturally I went down to the music battlestation to jam which ended up in the chorus albeit a much slower and somber version.  The rest came later...

 I think in the end its somewhere between Air and David Holmes with a little lo-fix mixed in for good measure.  I'm not sure if that was my mood or if it was the synth bringing it out of me - either way I'm happy with the result.

Tornare Alla Vita (Return To Life) (KVR OSC 123)

Before launching his solo project, Zolton spent many years as the guitarist and vocalist for Sydney bands, Lucid and Jetstream. After Jetstream disbanded, Zolton moved to New York where he gave music away and focused on a new career running a digital media company. During that time, he launched the music and culture website, Lost At E Minor, which was a vehicle through which to promote and encourage the talent of some Australia’s hottest emerging creatives.

At the end of 2016, Zolton moved back to Sydney and was re-invigorated to get back into creating music again. He began work on a new musical project that incorporated big 80s-styled synths, beats, and melodic hooks.
