Konin is a solo singer, songwriter and music producer. Born and raised in Zimbabwe, in Southern Africa.

Travelling, reading, writing songs and poetry, drawing, producing music or even experimenting with different music ideas or graphic art are all essential to Konin's diet . As a member of the LGBTQ community Konin believes equal rights, acceptance, integration,and protection from persecution should be everyone's human right.

“Postcards from Limbo” was Independently released in 2006 and started to gain a small fan base on the web, the lead single “Limbo” got air time play on 562 LIVE United States. The song "Best Kept Secret" was also well received. This first album was released under the artist name 'Conan' (which is Konin's birth name) but due to copyright limitations and all the b.s, the name 'Konin' was chosen.

In 2008 an album of 8 songs was released entitled “Remembering Fire”. The styles varied from ballad downtempo electro to techno pop.

The title track “Remembering Fire” caught the attention of 66Khz Productions UK , which lead to it's commercial release and Konin being signed to the record label. DJ Ramo ( Omar Bicane) remixed "Remembering Fire" for an EP. The album and EP both available online.

In 2010 "Play U Back" from was released under the 66Khz Productions UK label, including the remix DJ Ramo Deep Mix. The original album version the song was also released commercially on "Chill Out Essentials Vol. 2" Both of these these EPs are available.

2011-The following tracks were released "Aftermath" ( Level Four Two Mix)
"Comfort in Silence" ( The lost Vishnu Mix)
"Crazy Talking" ( Dark Vanilla Mix) ,
"Day and Night" (Galago Dream Remix)

Konin released another full album entitled "Disconnected Solo" in 2013. including "Gone for Good" ( song and video) "Down down baby" "Poetry" "Navigate". This album was featured on The Richard Harris show on UK Bexhill FM 87.7

2014 - "Aftermath" ( Dirty Secrets Mix)
2015 - "Letting Go" (Mantra Mix)
2020 - "Play U Back" ( Reconnect Mix)
2021 - " Best Kept Secret" remastered and released on it's 13th anniversary.

Konin is currently working on a remix project and a full album, due out in 2021. he has also been in collaboration with musician and friends reworking old material.

Fundas de Cartón es un colectivo de Hip-Hop onubense que nace en 2013 con el objetivo de apoyar y difundir a los artistas que lo integran. 

Entre sus filas encontramos al productor Mees Bickle, los mc's Profeta Garrido y Rivo Soul, Dj Grisú, y al fotógrafo/diseñador Mario Pérez.

Con influencias notables de la música negra y la búsqueda de un equilibrio constante entre la composición y el sampleo, las producciones de Mees Bickle adquieren desde tintes jazzísticos con un marcado sonido adulto hasta la elegancia del Soul mas sofisticado, en consonancia con unas letras que buscan contar historias bien narradas o simplemente dejar lugar a la improvisación, siempre con un notable trasfondo social. 

Profeta Garrido también desempeña la labor de beatmaker, con una gran habilidad para descubrir joyas ocultas de épocas pasadas y transformarlas en auténticos lienzos para los MC's.

Mientras que Profeta Garrido representa el sonido mas puro y añejo, con reminiscencias noventeras y letras mas directas, Rivo Soul se enmarca dentro de las nuevas corrientes, con un estilo mas dado a la experimentación, haciendo que la unión entre ambos dé como resultado un trabajo original lleno de matices y contrapuntos.

La esencia mas primigenia del Hip Hop encuentra su cobijo en los dedos de Grisú. Su depurada técnica hace del Scratch el mejor complemento posible para los rapeos de Profeta Garrido y Rivo Soul.

Mario Pérez es el encargado de recoger todos esos momentos con su cámara e inmortalizarlos, de darles movimiento y aportar color al proyecto.
