Родился и вырос в Челябинске, где с юности впитывал ломаные ритмы сурового Урала. Музыкален и выдержан одновременно. Вместе с этим ярок и креативен. Человек-фейерверк и улыбка. Умело сочетает в себе творческие и организаторские способности. С 2014 года дислоцируется в Москве. В декабре 2017 года окончил Аудио школу DJ Грува (Audio School DJ Groove).

Замечен в рядах лидеров Breaks-движения. Является одним из резидентов объединения BREAKBEATZONE.

XiMka - взрыв эмоций и неисчерпаемый источник энергии. Благодаря его искренней и безупречной любви к ломаным ритмам, музыкальному вкусу и самоотдаче в любом деле - неоднократно был отмечен почётными орденами и медалями представителями медиа-сообщества за содействие в организации ломаных event'ов и участие в развитии Underground движения.

Приятно-безумная и добродушная аура моментально заполняет пространство, в которое попадает ХиМка, заставляя двигаться всех вокруг. С ним ассоциируется праздник, музыка, добро, свобода и приключения!

Born and raised in Chelyabinsk, where from his youth he absorbed the broken rhythms of the severe Urals. He is musical, and reticent, bright and creative at the same time. A person - firecracker and a smile. Cleverly combines creative and organizational skills. Since 2014 has been stationed in Moscow. In December 2016 graduated from the Audio School DJ Groove.

Seen in the ranks of leaders of the Breaks-movement. He is one of the residents of BREAKBEATZONE community.

XiMka - an explosion of emotions and an inexhaustible source of energy. Thanks to his sincere and irreproachable love for broken rhythms, musical taste and dedication in any business - was repeatedly awarded honorary orders and medals by representatives of the media community for assistance in organizing broken events and participation in the development of the Underground movement.

What started in the mid nineties as a mission to create funky electro beats now has become a staple of the funky/electro Florida sound. There was a blending and fusing of funky breaks and electro beats which later became known as the Funk Lab. With influences coming from their efforts as DJs within the breaks community, the two had been immersed within the sound that they had come to love. With a diverse back catalog ranging from Florida style funky breaks to the darker, moodier electro, the Funk Lab has engaged a variety of listeners from both the US and abroad.

As soon as the first release was available on vinyl, licensing requests began from such labels as Street Beat, Adrenalin, Journees, Zazoo, Pioneer, and others. Tracks became staples of electro and funky breaks mix compilations as well as backing music for MTV programming and EA's "Need For Speed IV High Stakes" for the Sony Playstation. The Funk Lab was breaking new ground and finding new fans within a diverse universe of media.

During the early years of the Funk Lab, the idea was tossed around to do a live performance, bringing the fans and artists together, exploring the music, re-editing, re-mixing, and re-shaping the tunes that had drawn them in. The first several shows were enough to propel several years worth of weekend touring, playing from San Juan, Puerto Rico to Vancouver, Ca with gigs in most major cities friendly to dance music and more especially breaks. These Live performances drove the inspiration to continue to push the limits of what could be done with live sequencing. Utilizing two MPC2000's, Zip Discs and other various hardware at the shows became the staple of the live Funk Lab experience. Manipulating the sequences, the audio, the music with outboard effects and creative mixing allowed the shows to become a life of their own. No two were ever the same. Ever.

Later the Funk Lab focused on bringing even more to the table. Starting a sub-label, Overhead Records which was an outlet for a little less familiar sounding material. Sort of an experiment with neighboring artists. While working on the sub label, C4, began to pursue the electro funky break hard house sound. Becoming the House Wrecka, he released a series of successful tunes on the Hallucin8 Trax label, run by The Monk of Hallucination Records. Darryl (B.Nice) continued to pursue the darker, electro/nu-break/funk sound with a number of releases on both the FLR Imprint and others such as Afterdark Records.

Presently Funk Lab Records has teamed up with Stephen Moon of Twin Shape in order to re-boot the Funk Lab Records label. Cory Hughes has also joined the team and will be providing label support as he continues to develop his funky-electro-dubby-breaks style. We are currently seeking new material from both new and established artists.
