Radiotape #11 : Millésime 2023

Parallelle just announced their new video and music series A Day In where they immerse themselves in diverse cultures through the power of sound. Essaouira being the first video that you can view here https://youtu.be/nbHQteOENd8 

The beautiful port city at the coast of Morocco is where they start their series 'A Day In'. The first episode was part of MOGA creation, a collaborative project with electronic artists and traditional Moroccan musicians. In the sacred Medina of Essaouira, they fused Gnawa music with their electronic sounds together with Maalem Omar Hayat and his crotales players. A performance that was repeated live at Moga Festival, and was captured in a 2-track EP 'Essaouira'
