Christopher Milo AKA DJ Three, has been an important figure head on the American underground dance movement since the 1990s.  Contributing to production projects like Hallucination, Second Hand Satellites and Montage Men, as well as becoming one of the most trusted and musically knowledgeable DJs on the circuit, DJ Three continues to move and inspire the most discerning crowds across the globe.  Hailing from Pittsburgh, and growing up in the fertile period of post punk, industrial and early house and rave sounds, Three has held residencies in Florida, Twilo in New York, and regular spots for Fabric in London and the legendary Wicked parties in San Francisco.  So, prepare for an audacious ride over the next two hours from a real DJs DJ…

Regardless of what people tell you everybody needs a little groove in their life from time to time so for this weeks podcast we secured the services of our go to guy when we’re looking for our house equivalent of our five a day: Martin Landsky. Needing little introduction we’ve long been fans of Martin both as a producer and a DJ. 

Hailing from Hamburg, Martin has been moving crowds for almost three decades, touring the globe and rocking some of the world’s best parties – with everywhere from Berlin to Brooklyn housing his irrepressible talents. Not content with smashing it as both in the DJ booth and the studio he’s also turned his hand distribution and running a label, working for Container Distribution and later for Word And Sound – one of the world’s largest distributers – whilst helming his own label, Effortil Records. Having just reprised his with association with Poker Flat for the release of his new EP 'Da Geh Bo’ (we’ve got the three track effort both in our heads and on our playlists) we thought the time was right for him take the reins on our podcast series. Turn it up!

The Barcelona based DJ and producer's influence across the tech house and techno scene over the last 20 years is indisputable. 

His melodic masterpiece "Diabla", released in 2001 became a huge global hit and DJ Mag's 'techno record of the year'. Played by house, progressive, techno even trance DJs, its release saw the Scot’s career soar to new heights! 

Other hits "Jack Me Off," "Bad Coffee”, "Emotional Content", remixes for Underworld, New Order, and Laurent Garnier, plus releases for Bedrock, Drumcode, and All Day I Dream, are just a mere snapshot of his discography. 

Seminal mix compilations for Balance Series, Soma's Sci-Fi Hi-Fi, and Cocoon followed, further cementing his place in dance music history. 

Still not content with conquering techno, Sandberg was mystery figure behind “Francois Dubois”, with releases such "Blood" and "I Try" named as a big influence for Darius Syrossian, plus many other leading tech house DJs of his generation.
