Vielen Dank für diese in diesem Jahr so seltene Begebenheit - liebe Möhre. Ich fands trotz milde recht wild. Dank fürs Zuhören, Begleiten und Betanzen. Und dafür dass sich alle verantwortlich und solidarisch verhalten haben. 
Wenn's nicht anders geht, dann feiern mit Maske, statt gar nicht.

PROFILE
It took a long time until sound and noise evolved to a real passion for me, beginning with a computer-science study to learn about the techniques of modern communication. Later the way of education moved directly to music and communication science. This helped among other things to understand melody and sound designs practically, to compose and to interpret the art in a different way, like his own tracks too.

2004 // The musical collaboration with Retronic Sounds (Max Behn,Olaf Schäfer,Michael Wilkens) began. This project greatly advanced the development of everybody involved in terms of a live music act.

April 2005 // Fashion Playground was a concept initiated by Maria Fuchs and funkenstrøm (Thomas Oesterreich). It utilised a new and interesting sound produced from sewing-machines. The sound of the sewing machines was alienated and recorded via a notepad to make it danceable. You can hear more of it on the first demo-album of symbiont-music.

February 2006 // first night of “Gentheater” at the campus of TU Berlin: a dramatic composition. Production and Sound Design by funkenstrøm/ Visualisations by Nils Linscheidt & Björn Schäfer

September 2006 : Founding of symbiont-music together with Mathias Wilkens (tonmodul), Michael  Wilkens (mica), Olaf Schäfer (audacious clay), Max Behn

August 2009 // For the opening of the concert houseat Gendarmenmarkt Berlin, funkenstrøm & Paul Chriske prepared a live performance with remixes of classical music combined with cornerstones of electronic Pop music, like Kraftwerk, to accentuate the close alliance between all the musical styles.

Due to playing as liveact only, he produced and developed his sound in very different styles. Also he perfected his performance not to bore, but to heat up and to excite the crowd. It’s a mix between burning techno, experimental sounds, housy synthlines and a real passion for melody. This creates a very electronic style with elements of acoustic phrases. With the combination of his performance as liveact the club oriented sound works on the dancefloor.

2011 // He began the live act Peter & Pan together with Max Schumann of the artist duo Geschwister Schumann. The liveact with passion for deep and warm breezes, with hypnotic passion for producing live and feelings...

2012 // Funkenstrøm and Alex Kiefer from code2records started the DJ-Team Ringel & Pietz. They’ve got known to each other due to the berlin nightlife, and their passion for Pop and Techhouse is expressed in looping Techno combined with melody for millions.

2013 // Debut of Peter & Pan - Wolkenkuckucksheim EP, incl. Remixes by Samuel Fach, Gitte Verfuehrt and Jonas Saalbach, released on symbiont-music play
