It’s not very widely known but, when he’s not digging for other people’s music to play out at the party, Mister Harkin spends a good deal of his time in the studio making some of his own.

Up to now, those efforts have made their way onto records for the always on point Argot imprint in Chicago and NYC's own Throne of Blood. And although he’s DJed at almost 250 Mister Saturday Night & Sunday parties since we got going in 2009, this is his debut release on the label.

It’s made up of three spaciously sculpted club scorchers, ripe and ready for the power hour, and we’re super stoked to finally be able to share them with you.

Primitive Trust is the meshing of two experienced musical minds, Will Saul of the influential Aus Music Empire and Tom Mangan, aka Tee Mango, the producer behind Millionhands record and clothing label. After losing contact for many years, the two reconnected at a festival in Morocco. Bonding over music, lunch and shared family travails - and as they both now live in Somerset, decided a little local studio collaboration seemed all but essential.

Using only the gear they had (MPC 2000, Ableton, Roland 101, Juno, Fender Rhodes, various FX pedals), they set about to work to create tracks with a commitment to trusting their instincts and to go with their feelings. They would embrace ‘randomness’ and if in doubt would ask ‘what would Carl do?’.

The result is a series of Three EP’s to be released over the course of four months. Each EP will feature two or three original tracks and one fresh remix, with unique artwork and an illustration by all-around visual auteur Geoff Mcfetridge.

With an ease that comes from experience and using the building blocks of house and classic techno, Primitive Trust can do zoned out and romantic as much as driving and heady. While tipping their proverbial hats to the past they also look to the future, mixing samples, wigged out synthwork and propulsive rhythms to create something honest and heartfelt that will stand the test of time’.

The 3rd edition of the Dance 2017 series is a double A side featuring a track from the highly regarded Palms Trax and also the debut production from Secretsundaze aka Giles Smith & James Priestley.

Secretsundaze step up with their very first production as a duo. Both Giles and James have a catalogue of production work already, Giles as Two Armadillos with the sadly departed Martin Dawson and James alongside partners Marco Antonio Spaventi and Dan Berkson.

'Motorway Jam’ is a peak time, Detroit inspired burner with a rough analogue bassline and atmospheric detail on the top end. Keep your eyes peeled for more music from the London pair coming soon.

As the name suggests, Dance 2017 is here for one purpose and these tracks are guaranteed to make you move!

Secretsundaze - Motorway Jam

The parking lot was empty and deserted, the yellow paint stuck to the metal clad walls like some sort of sticky glue. She was the last one out of the building for a change, soon she would begin her drive slowly home. Her innocence was striking, a beautiful presence with an understated warmth. She was not one to underestimate, not one to glaze over. The car lights flashed as she flicked the key, the doors opened and she sighed as she took a seat. 

Next up on the fine establishment which is Feelings Worldwide is Keith Lorraine. The London based record label and party series continues to move from strength to strength with fine force, the new EP doesn't disappoint.

Yarni’s ‘Entkommen’ was a well-received debut album on this label last year, and now comes the first of two remixes EPs. AWITW, ATDHE, Harmonious, Lauer, Tales of Voodoo and IPG V Yarni all serve up brilliant new versions ahead of part two in September.
Night Noise regular AWITW opens things up and channels his Balearic senses on ‘Agitator’ creating a CFCF like vibe. It’s awash with rippling synths and beach-y grooves to carry you away.
Next up, IPG follow on from their recent disco hit with Hot Toddy, joining forces here with Yarni for a remix of ‘Granny’s Garden’ that is blissed out and dreamy thanks to the heavenly chords and gentle percussion. Then it’s, ATDHE a newcomer from Yarni’s hometown of Sheffield who breathes new life, broken beats & shimmering melodies into ‘Waterfall’.
For his remix, Dutch producer ‘Harmonious’ takes us on a beautifully harmonic journey with rubbery kicks powering along the thoughtful groove. After that is another newcomer in the form of Tales Of Voodoo who take the delightful ‘Goin Live in Rabat’, strip it back and turn it into a percussion heavy, Sergio Mendes styled slice of Latin tinged dance floor action. Last of all is an alternative disco remix of ’28 Years of It’ from Tuff City Kid member Lauer who uses all his know how to cook up a euphoric remix with big retro chords and effortlessly summery vibes. 
All six of these remixes offering something different but equally essential for the dance floor and mark another superb release from Night Noise Music.

PREMIERE : Yarni - 28 years Of It (Lauer Disco Mix)

London based @Hyasynthe pulls up slowly building delight, Aurora. Particles shuttle around in the upper atmosphere, causing reddish and green hues to dance, all as that same sample loops over and over, building, waxing and waning. How can the producers use of Ableton 10, 808’s and your own heartstring have such an effect on the magnetic pole of the earth? we're completely unsure. 

We never thought something with so emotionally driven, and many hued could be birthed from someone hailing from Milton Keynes; what some call the Jewel of the Buckinghamshire heartland, but most consider the complete antithesis. Opposites attract, we suppose but this sonic sonnet is one to be saved, that’s for sure.
