I had feedback that I should do a remix with Lumidees Uh Oh, no sooner said than done. I used Foxy B. and Booker T. & the MG's as the main vibe and used Lumidees to up the tone a little.

The beat liberally samples a classic 1968 O. C. Smith track, jacks the bottom end and pairs it with a Lil Bow Wow 'pella for maximum dancefloor action.  Peppered with a few choice scratches from Mr. Bristow, this is guaranteed to get hands in the air and dancefloors bumping.

Fans of the groove maestros won't be strangers to the red herring (but darned cute) cover image - but seconds into track ’Starsky And June’ reveals a modern funksploitation classic featuring scene veterans The Brand New Heavies. ‘I Don’t Follow The Trend’ featuring Baby Bam (Jungle Brothers) from received numerous plays in the summer from Zoe Ball on her BBC R2 show and Lauren Laverne and Steve Lamaq on their BBC 6 music shows.

Other participants such as Freak Power’s Ashley Slater (via his Kitten And The Hip project) and piano genius Dan Hewson make this a record of such caliber that it plays out like this year’s prime crate digger compilation. It’s completely mind-blowing that this is the creme of an act’s output over a two year period and if mention of their co-conspirators isn’t enough - let that thought be your recommendation and hit play NOW!
