Having kicked off summer in style with the beautifully melodic track 'Breathin', EDX returns for his new release 'Make Me Feel Good,' out through Enormous Tunes on the 14th July. 

'Make Me Feel Good' provides a sunshine-fuelled vibe with its nu-disco beat accompanied by the cool sounds of an electric guitar, a tranquil foundation oozing positivity. With a punchy bassline, smooth, soulful vocals and a tribal inspired drum beat, 'Make Me Feel Good' is an idyllic beach party soundtrack. 

Coming through on Enormous Tunes, the new track joins a steady output of masterful productions by EDX, a.k.a. Maurizio Colella. With a string of exceptional releases already under his belt for 2014, which saw 'Cool You Off' heavily featured in the top 10 Beatport Deep House Chart. With other notable remixes such as 'Back There' and more recently 'Breathin', EDX continues to further his already prolific career.

Off the back of another incredible summer that saw 'Cool You Off', 'Breathin' and 'Make Me Feel Good' become staples in the Beatport chart, EDX looks set to finish the year with the same gusto as he started with his latest EP, 'Collateral Effects', coming through on Enormous Tunes on 1st December. 

With his progressive sound specifically designed to make people smile, the two-track EP delivers some of EDX's signature melody work that'll instantly brighten up the dance floor. Its title track 'Collateral Effects' features an elevating, nu-disco beat that's layered with soft male vocals and hints of string and percussion work, whilst the B side named 'Empathy' takes things deeper with a dominating kick drum - and a great demonstration of Maurizio Colella, aka EDX's long-standing dedication to the scene.

After gracing the bill alongside Avicii and Laidback Luke at Ibiza's coveted open air club Ushuaia bcd in August, EDX is currently undergoing a massive tour of North America; proving that 2014 has been another stellar year for the Swiss. Besides his notable release success, EDX continues to head up his weekly 'No Xcuses' global radio show which presents the works of both popular and up-and-coming house producers' from around the world - and he's also a member of up and coming Swiss collective Helvetic Nerds. 

With an official music video for 'Make Me Feel Good' on the horizon and a remix of Sandy Rivera's BANG! coming through on Ultra Records, 'Collateral Effects' is a perfect way to round off the year and will see you right through the winter months.

Nearly a decade later, EDX has chosen to test his production prowess by revisiting the fan-favourite, masterfully infusing the original with his sublime sound to provide a divine deep house edit that is set to continue his worldwide dancefloor domination.

In celebration of the release, EDX gives insight into the importance of the song, “In 2007, Dubfire released his debut minimal techno record, ‘Roadkill’ and it’s a significant song in my career as I released a remix of it in 2008 that took over Ibiza and saw a ton of DJ support from Pete Tong, Armin Van Buuren, and Swedish House Mafia, to name a few. The song still brings back many good memories from that exciting era, so I decided to revitalize it with a fresh version that features my deeper, sexier style, about 10 years since its release. With the recent announcement of my Privilege Ibiza residency this summer, this new ‘Roadkill’ version couldn’t have come at a better time, and I can’t wait for you all to hear it on the dance floor.”
 
Last year saw EDX’s career reach unprecedented heights, with his remix of Sam Feldt’s ‘Show Me Love’ amassing over 60 million plays on SoundCloud alone, not to mention releasing a slew of club-ready cuts such as ‘Belong’ and ‘Revered’ that saw him scoop the award for #1 top charting artist on Beatport of 2015.
