The main objective of the Fun-K Lab project is to produce experimental music based upon combining various 1970s Funk influences, (Herbie Hancok, Tower Of Power, James Brown) with comtemporary and classic jazz and rock tunes (Miles Davis, John Scofield, Medesky Martin & Wood ). The Fun-K Lab search for an original sound and compose various instrumental tracks in the form of real and proper jam sessions. A vast space is left for musical improvisation and fusion. The project finds its strength in how its musicians bring together and fuse their different music experiences; every member has a different artistic and technical background which determines their kaleidoscopic and capturing sound. The band, through the relationship with the public, provides the best impetus for composing and creating fusion.
