Seit 2011 steht ANINA OWLY erst hinter den Plattentellern. Dabei fühlt sie sich auf Festivals in Frankreich und Italien mittlerweile genauso wohl wie auf ihren eigenen Veranstaltungen .
Mit Headlinern wie RON COSTA (Official Page), Macromism oder Carlo Ruetz hat sich ihre selbst organisierte Veranstaltungsreihe "Owl Night Long" bereits zum Treffpunkt für Technoliebhaber etabliert. Mit "Housegemacht" ist sie außerdem der erste weibliche DJ mit einer Residenz im Karma Club. 
Auch auf regionalen Festivals wie dem Kamehameha Festival, dem Sea You Festival, dem Grenzenlos Open-Air Festival oder der SUN & MOON verzaubert sie ihre stetig wachsende Fanbase mit einer bunten Mischung aus frischem Minimal und knackigem Techno.
Zusammen mit Mandibula brachte sie 2013 auf dem Hamburger Label Aaaahhhh! Rec ihr erstes Release heraus, worauf weitere Release auf Wayward Music und dem Tochterlabel von Supdub Records, Moonplay Records, folgten. Ihre "Blow" Ep hat es in den Beatportcharts auf Platz 6 geschafft. Inzwischen ist sie außerdem bei cubeplus unter Vertrag, der gleichen Künstleragentur wie Alfred Heinrichs (official), René Bourgeois und Carlo Ruetz. Mit dem Bau des eigenen Studios hat sie sich Raum für neue Kreativität geschaffen und wir dürfen auf weitere Remixe und EPs gespannt sein.

Q: Talking about your mix, what´s the story behind your chosen tracks?

A: For this mix I´ve chosen mainly tracks I am regularly playing at the moment and which reflect my current vibe and feeling. Thus the mix turned out relatively dynamic which will possibly get you moving and dancing even at home. 

Q: You built your imprint Heinz Music to a worldwide respected label. Which future plans do you have with it?

A: The focus for 2017 remains releasing danceable club sound. There will be a good mixture between established artists as well as talented newcomers. We try to raise the bar every year and pick up the level of quality. We got some interesting stuff coming up, so keep your eyes open.

Q: Which Marcus Meinhardt releases are coming soon?

A: There will be some new music coming up at Heinz Music, Katermukke, Voltage Musique Records and a couple of other Labels.

Marcus Meinhardt - HOW I MET THE BASS #48

When people think of Switzerland, they think of green meadows, clear water, snow-covered mountaintops and fresh air. In the world of electronic music they think of soulful house music and an extensive clubbing past. It is in both of these environments that Marco Biagini aka KELLERKIND grew up. In the small and rural town of Solothurn KELLERKIND discovered the Chicago sound in the local clubs and became fully infected with the virus of house music. 15 years later, KELLERKIND has become an irreplaceable figure in the Swiss electronic music scene. Backflash: In the beginning, it wasn’t much more than just fun. Now though, it is a true passion. After many nights spent on the dance-floor of Solothurn’s Nacht-Schicht, KELLERKIND started to DJ himself – at first in his bedroom and soon in the clubs in and around his hometown. Warm deep house and the soulful music of Chicago were his biggest influences then and still remain to be the backbone to his sets. Very quickly KELLERKIND starts to DJ out in Switzerland’s big clubs. By 2007 Marco has already played the country’s most important venues, be it Zurich’s Hive, Rohstofflager, Rote Fabrik, Zukunft or Bern’s Formbar.

His career, however, really kicks off with his first release ‘Bergluft’ in 2008. His name, which translates as ‘basement child’, can be taken quite literal, as he spends hours creating and arranging his warm house sounds in his basement studio in Solothurn. In 2007, KELLERKIND meets the guys behind Swiss house imprint Sirion Recordings and in 2008 he releases ‘Bergluft’, a track that gets worldwide feedback. It is played out by many famous DJs, charts at number 5 of Beatport’s minimal section and even gets airtime on John Digweed’s UK radio show on Kiss100. After the sterling debut things happen quickly: Florian Meindl releases the Keller EP on his label Flash Recordings, of which the tracks ‘Natural Juice’ and ‘TomTom’ list highly in various techno charts. Later the tracks are re-released on vinyl as part of the Don’t Go Home EP, which does well with record retailers such as decks.de. In 2009, KELLERKIND’s working-relationship with Oliver Koletzki develops as he is asked to produce a remix for Koletzki’s ‘Since you are gone’. Since then he has released a shared EP on Stil vor Talent with Niko Schwind – an homage to classic house music – and has been featured on the Swiss Edition EP in 2010. More recently, his Groovebox EP was released on Flash to critical acclaim and another collaboration with Niko Schwind appeared on Light my Fire. While the spring of last year saw KELLERKIND’s first full length. Basement Story, his Backflash EP on Stil vor Talent has been the career defining moment thus far: hitting the zeitgeist perfectly, it reigned the Beatport Deep House charts at number one for weeks. Now, not even two years later, his second album Music is a Miracle is about to become another big success story. 

Simultaneously, KELLERKIND’s DJ career has taken a sharp turn: he masters the decks at Berlin’s famous Watergate every other month, holds a residency at Hive in Zurich and jets to international venues in Paris, Amsterdam or Istanbul regularly. While channeling the energy of the club in his records, KELLERKIND enjoys the contrast between weekend and weekday: he produces his tracks in a small wooden hut tucked away deep in the Swiss countryside. It is here that his warm and soulful tracks are borne and he gets the chance to replenish his batteries for those long weekends ahead. “Most of my inspiration still comes from the time spent in clubs”, he states, a fact that is confirmed by his DJ sets and productions. “Music, for me, is everything – it’s a miracle”.

Arriving on the heels of Pleasurekraft's debut album, Argentine duo Beico & MT93 join the Kraftek family with their first release : Let There Be Dark EP. Brooding & dark as the name suggests, the title track goes full throttle from the getgo, armed with an infectious hook, it is a joy to watch audiences connect with the record on the dancefloor. For the flip side - fellow Argentine Nicolas Taboada joins the boys for their more melodic and emotive effort on "Polaris". Incredibly excited to be adding such talent to the kraftek catalogue, names that are certainly the rising stars of future techno.

Carl Cox is an industry figurehead whos legacy in music includes his iconic label Intec, which he runs with friend and business partner Jon Rundell.

This new Intec release is from Many Reasons, which is the techno alias of Italian duo Angelo Manicone and Michele Colombo, who had previously been known under the names of MiniCoolBoyz.

Under their various aliases they have featured music on a huge range of labels including Phobiq, Break New Soil, Minus, 100%% Pure, Terminal M, Octopus Black, and their own Amazing Records.

Since their first release in 2008, the pair have been one of Italys most prominent techno acts, and have played all over the world including clubs like Watergate in Berlin, plus festivals like Balaton Sound in Hungary.

Many Reasons last release on Intec in September 2017 picked up support from the likes of Ambivalent, Alan Fitzpatrick, Wehbba plus Lee Van Dowski, and their much anticipated follow up brings stylish techno with a delicate sound design.

First up is Obsessed and its namesake vocals, which sits over the stripped back groove consisting of mechanical hi-hats and rippling synths. The track has a very intimate vibe with whispered textures, but its full bodied sound more than fills the speakers, and its pounding bottom end is a certified party starter.

The second track Rawphoria lifts it up a gear with a booming kick drum leading the slow building tension of the hypnotic background textures. The euphoric lead synth takes centre stage making this an understated and intricate cut of dancefloor focused techno with uplifting elements that complement its otherwise dark atmosphere.

After delivering his first remix rendition a few months ago on Phobiq, Superstrobe is back with his debut EP titled “Glitch”.
The title track kicks things off right from the beginning with a grinding bassline haunted by tight hi-hats, before alarming synths take over for the final breakdown. The gears are pulled back a bit on “Flying High” with a snappy rhythm section and optimistic chords. 
Next up, “In God’s House” we are introduced to menacing stabs and metallic synths, creating an electrifying vibe throughout the track, and finally “Neverending” seals the EP with its chaotic, yet straight-forwarded techno, while never-ending mechanized chords and stomping drums provide the momentum for some serious heads-down action.
