03. Pretending Human  - Steps of destiny

Let's move on to another sweet-hearted human being - we are fan of his work since the very first beginning and it's continously a pleasure to hear and see his harmonic soundscapes developing. 

OTISTIC is a young producer from France who is feeling home within a wide range of music. He always got a lot of Fingerspitzengefühl for his arrangements and especially the tribalistic use of organic percussions. And during the past years, these signutares were combined with heavily evolving sound design, due to his hard work he put into the technical side of his productions. 

For this platter, he's delivering a track which bridges the gap between dark progressive and more forestial music. Actually, we'd say, he's bridging a lot of gaps throughout his different projects and styles. Also take a seat and have a listen to his, more faster more core-oriented, project called Yubabaz. Funkshape - Superstate (low quality version) - out now on debut VA 'Varius Psykos' from Psykorecords

Funkshape is the result of the onholding musical journey of Sebastian O. from Salzburg/Austria. 

His passion for psychedelic music, and especially the Psytrance genre in all it’s diversity, sprinkled very early in the first decade of this millennium. A club in Salzburg known as CaveClub aka B.Lack, a label called PsykoActive and other local partyorganisations did their thing on his mind, body and soul with those Funktion One and C37 Sound-Systems back in those carefree and blasting days. Not to mention what huge impact the first festivals had on him. The passion is strong and is now showing up in his 2020 new born project called Funkshape.
Exploring the deep worlds of possibilities this genre has to offer he`s taking us on his very personal ride threw a universe of pumpin basslines, screaming leads, funky rhythms and blasting spheres.
 
Threw time there have occured some nice collaborations. He is now part of the Project "Weirdly Wired" which focuses on faster style and bpm.

The third Project besides Funkshape and Weirdly Wired is called Parafunk. A collab with a very close friend which focuses on a more flowy style of Psytrance. Go check it out and expect a lot to come !!!
