‘Mind Vacation’ was crafted in northern South America over the past year after Styles initially left what was familiar in America to pursue a more open and conscious experience in the southern hemisphere, away from the everyday grind of life that so many of us are familiar with. Intending to stay for only a period of months, COVID-19 and the current
climate of the United States has seen Styles make a more permanent home in South America. This album is a reflection of the experiences, memories, and frame-of-mind garnered throughout.

As heard in the voiceover of the opening title track of the album, Mind Vacation (featuring Philos label-mate Derlee)perfectly frames the careful and intentional message behind the album:

"The stress of the streets can hold you down, you know? In this concrete jungle, you need to find a little time for meditation. So quiet your mind, and open your heart, and find your true self.
