Primary Colours brings you the much anticipated Mike Schommer - City Sleeps remixes, Part 2. F

ollowing remixes on part one from Steve O Sullivan, Rhauder and CV313 we come back just as strong with remixes from Deepchord, Deadbeat and Freunde der Familie. 

First off the cut is Mike s friend, Rod Model, Deepchord. Bringing his signature sound, this remix is hypnotic, deep and encapsulating. Driven by dark percussive rhythms, ghostly vocals invite you to take the journey with Deepchord as he creates a timeless dub techno classic. 

In contrast to Deepchord, Scott Monteith, aka Deadbeat, brings us a jacking club dub techno cut. Swirling, sweeping soundscapes play with the strong bass drum and snappy snare. The Blood & Bones remix is sure to be one for the dancefloors from Melbourne to Berlin. 

Last on the remix duties are our good friends, FDF, with the Downunder Dub. Dark, Dub, Dystopian sounds conjure up feelings of deep emotions, looking inwards for answers to questions put to the dancefloor by FDF. Another timeless classic ensues.

Bio:

Ki.Mi. started producing music in 1999. Since 2003 he is also a dj and promoter.

In early 2005 he signed contracts with foreign labels on 5 releases including 1 album and by the mid of 2005 Ki.Mi.'s tracks and mixes were heard on the dancfloors and radio stations all over the world. He had a huge support from many geniuses of electronic music.

In 2009 he started working with such labels as Proton (USA) ,Statik Entertainment (Germany), Instabil (Germany), Factomania (Spain), Carica Limited (Italy), Blue Dog (Australia), The Flame Recordings (Italy), Stereooxide (Germany), Superbia (Italy), Forza (Russia), Carica Forza (Russia), Green Snake (Russia).
Ki.Mi.'s guest mixes and tracks could be heard on Pure FM (San-Francisco), Proton (USA), Trockensaft (Germany), ETN.FM (Canada), New Amsterdam (USA), Play.FM and different Russian radio stations. He also became a co-owner of Australian label Blue Dog.

In 2009 his album Muzik Book was released on Superbia label with the track Stereokubizm that was on top 10 chart of Depeche Mode.

A bit after Ki.Mi.'s track appeared in the compilation Minimal Club Session Vol. 2 together with such musicians as Kaiserdisco, Christian Fischer, Daniel Stefanik, Hector Couto, Vizar, Dani Casarano & Delete, Monoroom, Ladies On Mars, PK & Lopez, Sensou, Trutanof and Underground Sky.

By 2010 Ki.Mi's career resulted in contracts with more then 8 lables.
In the end of 2010 Ki.Mi. together with his friends created their team Double Sound and started making parties in Saint-Petersburg. Very soon Double Sound has become one the most famous teams in their own city. Guys bring foreign musicians not only in Saint-Petersburg but also in Moscow.

For the second release on their recently launched imprint, Circle Of Live is proud to present Live At Freerotation 2018.

The follow-up to Loop For Today is comprised of select cuts from an improvised live performance during this year's Freerotation festival.The artists took over the main stage with an unscripted, freeform live performance from open till close.

Offering a recorded first glimpse into the free-flowing experimental set-up currently touring top European venues, the EP is a collaborative soundscape with contributions from Dorisburg, Johanna Knutsson, Mathew Jonson, Sebastian Mullaert and Steevio.With no prior planning whatsoever aside from an agreed BPM, the recording presented on this unique release offers a snapshot into the imperfections and charm of truly improvised live performance - a refreshing notion in today’s overproduced musical climate. Conceptually, the EP can be understood as more of an open-ended argument in favour of spontaneity and collaboration than a collection of tracks.

Envisioned and created by Sebastian Mullaert, Circle Of Live represents an organic process which aims to detach itself from the habitual routines of dance music, to allow the weird and wonderful elements of collaborative performance to truly come to life. Utilising Sebastian’s unique live set-up which can accommodate any number of participants at once, artists drop in and out and collaborate as much or as little as they like.

COL002 captures the best of Circle Of Live at Freerotation, an odyssey of sound, with rich textures providing a grounding for playful melodic and percussive improvisations. Gently rolling kick and bass patterns drift in and out, carrying the listener along, whilst analogue call and responses showcase the pure synergy of the artistic interplay.

Sebastian Mullaert and Circle Of Live continue to tour Europe with select guest performers and have upcoming shows in Barcelona (Nov 24th @Nitsa), Amsterdam (Dec 14th @Shelter), Berlin (Dec 20th @Funkhaus), Munich (Jan 11th @Blitz), Brussels (Jan 26th @Fuse) and London (Feb 2nd @Village Underground).
