There are many different ways that the biosphere affects climate. Some produce greenhouse gases and promote warming of our planet through the greenhouse effect, while others reduce the amount of greenhouse gases promoting cooling of our planet. Thereby, by trapping heat, greenhouse gases contribute to our planet's warming and the biosphere provides the necessary environmental conditions for survival. And of course, Biosphere is the moniker of one Geir Janssen, who has been a constant influence on ambient music throughout his career. Inhmost is one of the monikers of S.Huxtable who wanted a representation for the more ambient and downtempo works that he creates which would allow the freedom of expression within these genres, deep space atmospheres and otherworldly soundscapes are the order of the day.

Situated in the South West of England the local area provides the backdrop for inspiration with the coast and countryside allowing an escape into the wild for moments of reflection.

Inhmost has solo album releases with Stasis Recordings, RE:ST, La Luna, Huinali, Captured Visions, Short Trips and Tonights Dream Records as well as collaborating with ASC on projects for Auxiliary.

Dreams of Eternity

Hailing from Amsterdam, Wanderwelle's unique brand of invigorating, meditative deep electronica has quickly made a mark internationally. Their creative output is intricate and well-considered, with each release featuring field recordings and deep-lying concepts which draw inspiration from folklore and natural environments.

Following on from releases on @silent-season - including the acclaimed "Lost in a Sea of Trees" from 2017 - the duo has increased their exposure, performing at Isotoop in the Rotterdam, Tresor in Berlin and an upcoming debut outdoor set at Croatia's Modem Festival. Along with this, their contribution to @grandriver 's @oneinstrument project found its way onto vinyl earlier this year.

For their contribution to Patterns of Perception, the duo explore a range of sounds - from lush ambience and deep techno to experimental electronica - that translate impeccably into a single, cohesive yet wide-ranging narrative.

Their next LP "Gathering of the Ancient Spirits" (also on Silent Season) is slated for release later this summer.

Adrift in the liberating, late light of summer, delicate, frivolous, they make their way to my front porch and flutter near the glassed-in bulb, translucent as a thought suddenly wondered aloud, illumining the air that's thick with honeysuckle and dusk. You and I are doing our best at conversation, keeping it light, steering clear of what we'd like to say.You leave, and the night becomes cluttered with moths, some tattered, their dumbly curious filaments startling against my cheek. How quickly, instinctively, I brush them away. Dazed, they cling to the outer darkness like pale reminders of ourselves. Others seem to want so desperately to get inside.
