From the moment I heard house music for the very first time, I knew it was in my blood.

I am a music fan, a music collector, a music connoisseur.

DJ'ing has been a HUGE part of my life & ive been fortunate enough to play in many clubs & bars, not just around the UK (Ministry of Sound, Gatecrasher, Custard Factory) but around the world (Ibiza, Miami, Paris).

There's no better feeling than seeing a crowd react when your DJ set & music selection touches their mind, body & soul.

And I've never tried to just emulate other DJ's, although several have significantly influenced my career.
I've never been afraid to try something new or different.
Today I thoroughly enjoy playing my house sets just as much as ever, aswell as a retro set, whether it's classic Disco & Salsoul or even Northern Soul & Motown.

Quite simply, I love music - and the ability to DJ is my way of sharing with like minded people the wonders of dance music.

DJ Huck Finn originally known as Huckleberry Finn, an artist, producer, radio legend that has helped mould scenes and bring back others. The master of the mix, unsung underground dance music stalwart and record collector over the past 3 decades. 
Huck played his first DJ gig at 16 on HMS Belfast under the pseudonym of “Huckle B” before being christened “Huckleberry Finn” by the original Biology Promotion team. 
Honing his mixing techniques over the airways on Girls FM (1992-1997) one of the underground pirate stations tracking the musical and cultural shifts at the time. He worked at various record stores in 80’s and 90’s before becoming the face of UK House and Garage mecca that was Uptown Records, Soho (Twice voted DJ Mag award for Record Store of the year). 

With a vast knowledge of the music industry from promoting and productions Huck was headhunted by one of the biggest labels in the world Polydor records, to set up a dance label/A&R division. Over the years Huck has broken many a hit including Night Crawlers “Push the Feeling”, Kim English “Night Life “ to name but a few, and has contributed to the success for many artists including Ms Dynamite and Craig David.

Having showcased his talent across the globe including USA, Japan, Ibiza, Malta and Germany, Huck is primarily based in London, where he has played top venues past and present including Ministry of Sound, KoKo, Turmills plus many more. A timeless artist, nominated at the Old School Awards for best Classic House DJ.

Huck Finn’s longevity in the industry is testament to his popularity and love for music, a regular on the airways presenting Shows and Guest Mix including a special for BBC Radio 1. With the rise of digital radio and podcasting he continues to spread the word online and will be returning to airwaves soon after a break

Music was always a feature in my life and from Soul I progressed to Disco then in 1989 I discoveredd House music and never looked back.
Throughout my teenage years most of my money was spent on vinyl that I played at home. 
When the dance scene exploded I focused on promoting and had 2 successful nights at a club called Legends where I had the pleasure of booking some of the top DJs at the time  who played at all the big outdoor raves such as Sunrise, Biology, Energy, Back to get Future,Pirate Club and many more.
To support my passion for vinyl I bought some cheap decks and instantly became hooked. I’d always been in the company of DJs but didn’t want to be on that side of the decks till I had my own.
My first real  gig was at a club called Area in Watford where I played to 400+ people, most of whom were my friends

Currently host my own show Smokin’ Beatz once a month, weekly show on DNUK, monthly show on LoveLife DAB with the Dirty Stereo Allstars.
