We are KÖNST. 

Officially formed in 2020. Two guys decided after a long lasting (musical) friendship to start a band. After playing in  several bands we started to compose and recording in 2014.  This leads to the recording of three songs, a present to a dear friend. In 2020 we found eachother musically again. Inspired by REM and Bears’ Den our own sound was evolving. To perform these numbers we found a bass/keyboard player and percussionist. While trying to found a collaboration the Corona pandemie took place. Along the way we found out the magic was especially between the two of us. Two guys finding each other in a more experimental way of making music and recording numbers. In september 2021 the first performance will take place in combination with the release of six numbers. These numbers are produced, egineered and mixed by Rob Könst (Music Centre The Box, Katwijk aan Zee, Holland).

KÖNST are Joost Könst (ukelele, and the rest) and Cees de Gelder(vocals, and keyboards).
