Hailing from Los Angeles, Uncool Laurence is an artist with intentions on bringing Hip Hop back to the basics but keeping it fresh, charismatic, and creative. Some of his biggest influences are J. Cole, Redman, Kanye West, and Ghostface Killah, just to name a few. Like his influences, he likes to keep his content honest and relatable, yet with a funny twist to match his humorous personality. 
The name Uncool Laurence is pronounced Uncle or Uncool, since it touches on the common misconception that he's more on the nerdy side, and also reflect on his age. Uncool Laurence discovered his niche for writing lyrics as a teenager, and has received acclaim from peers and publications such as KING Magazine winning their monthly 16 contest three times. With an impeccable ear for beats, vast subject matter, and superb wordplay, Hip Hop is about to witness something incredible!
