Immersione novantadue - Translate

Born and raised in a small town in the southern part of Bulgaria and currently living in Sofia, Dimitar Grozev has been messing with noise and machines long before the creation of the “sculptor.” persona during the summer of 2025, using it as a starting point for releasing raw, bleepy and metallic sounds with a future-facing approach. Going through many of the electronic subgenres over the years while playing across the country at some of the most iconic Bulgarian clubs, such as Plazma and Yalta Club, he soon became a co-owner of Hivemind Records - one of the key labels for electronic music in the Bulgarian underground scene. Since then he has released some of his most successful works under the Hivemind imprint, reaching the sound systems of places like Berghain and Gashouder, with the most recent being a debut vinyl release.

“The desire to go out of my comfort zone in every aspect of my life has not always led to success, but has always been worth it. This podcast is a representation of “leaving my comfort zone”. The perfect moment to explore a side of my collection that has stayed in the dark for a long time, presented as a 1- hour trip through industrial, breakbeats, electro and idm - true to form, textural, atmospheric and raw.”

The project “AgainstMe” came to life two years later after his first Rave / Techno parties in Lesvos, Greece. With a DIY ethos front and center, Deano is a South African DJ, producer, and label owner whose sound is shaped by a thoroughly diverse musical background and early immersion in local nightlife culture. From house to techno and the interesting spaces in between, his sonic identity drifts seamlessly through high-velocity rhythms and deep, driving textures. His uncompromising energy has cemented his role as a staple of the South African underground, where he holds a long-standing residency at Cape Town’s Mødular Club and frequently commands the floor for Johannesburg's legendary TOY TOY crew. Beyond DJing, his fully self-run label, Knowledge Imprint, has released music from emerging global talent since 2018 and is responsible for debuting many of these artists in his hometown (often in collaboration with VAULT—a Cape Town collective for whom he also holds a residency).
