First podcast delivered by our very own artist and a founding member – Yan. His style has evolved a lot since the days of his first appearances, but the ones who saw him jumping on the boat back in the days are able to see clearly how he has developed. Yan is a very versatile DJ possessing the most important ability of djing and since that talent was discovered – learning from his slots at different parties and choosing the right tunes for each event he is asked to play. Affiliated projects to Harmony Rec. and promoters in Prague are well aware of his skill, which gives him even more power to dig deeper and not to bring overplayed stuff to the dancefloor. This juicy set was recorded exclusively for the Harmony podcast series. Hope you’ll spend a nice sunny day while listening to melodies mixed by Yan.

Adhémar is a multi-disciplinary artist, establishing his universe through music and visual works. Constantly in search of the luminous quality of sounds, in a world made of shadows and light, his music is closely linked to his plastic work. This obsession with shadows leads him to think and create spaces, atmospheres that focus on the lightness and poetry of light. The idea of "narrative potential of music" allows us to confront the psychological and philosophical journey with a particular relationship on what is alive and what surrounds us. With a particular rigour for transitions in his performances, his universe is built little by little, with the passing of sound transformations and the light and poetic transportation of it all.

A journey where techno enters a land of shadows and rarefactions, escaping images, dark suggestions. Where gravity becomes a relative concept, uncertain, and where cinematic refractions count as much as the dancefloor rules, in a continuous encounter/clash. 

It was time to get involved. Get involved deeper. After plenty of non-trivial satisfactions (and an album, “Boats”, on Life and Death), at the end of 2013 comes the time for Federico to higher the stake: he leaves the Clockwork project, willing to travel solo.

The richness of past experiences, the years in New York at heart (and in the musical and retinal education); a musical background that goes from the sharp and geometrical hip-hop of Gang Starr to the spirituality of Basic Channel's techno dub (passing through the visionaries of Radiohead and to the complex lightness of Matthew Herbert). Well: all these generated a new sinuous, fascinating and profound sonic venture.

First, it was “Millenium”, year 2014: tracks recreating a sense of space, mapping an itinerary, breathing deeply. Then it was time for “Vertere”, 2015, a joint venture with revered Mind Against, able to bring listeners on a journey outward while mirroring a simultaneous labyrinthine journey inward. 2016 brought “Triangle”, included in Afterlife label very first release “A Realm Through Consciousness”, a sonic affair traveling through mesmerizing synth and effective reverbs – a true Odyssey within itself.

A path was set, actually. And it was further enriched by an amazing collaboration with the legendary Deutsche Grammophon label, as Somne was the executive producer chosen by Tale Of Us for their “Endless” release on such a giant (and had remixing duties as well, on the track “Venatori”). It was time to take a step further, though. And its name was Aura Dinamica.

Music label co-funded with Oscar Morgan, aka Portrait (and distributed by Âme & Dixon’s Muting The Noise”). Some incredibly brilliant releases coming into play, “Speed, Noise, Machinery & The City”, “Ink Eye”, “Risveglio Di Una Città”, the latter being overtly inspired by early 20th century Futurismo movement while still getting straight at the heart of the dancefloor. A “Various Artists” release, amazingly depicting the sound of the label (Somne’s own contribution was the track “Dust”). Plus, some very special ventures, as Somne is definitely an open-minded musical warrior, as he crossed ways with Italian pop wunderkind Venerus, remixing the “Forse Ancora Dorme” track, turning into poisonous and angular machinery.

Hailing from Tel-Aviv, Israel, Jack Lavy known as Sage (@jack_sage), has left his marks in the local underground techno scene in the last couple of years with his unique style of hypnotic techno. he is part of Obscure, a techno collective running the Obscurity series of events and is also the founder of the podcast project Parallel Perception which has been praise from many artists across the globe. The mix is deep and atmospheric with beautiful references to natural elements. Enjoy.

Since the inception of our podcast we have been bringing you journeys crafted by artists who resonate with our love and passion for a certain flavour of soundscapes. Today as we celebrate 1st anniversary of our podcast, we are elated to embark on a higher note by gifting you with a mix from a duo who have been the flag bearers of the sounds we have all come to love.

Tom Szabo & Brayden Warburton are no strangers to the scene. If you have attended any gigs they played at or even listened to one of their many mixes, you’d quickly notice an immaculate level of curation. Their journeys are laid out on an aural canvas that spans across niche genres and speaks to everyone in the crowd alike. Stepping in and out of deep, hypnotic realms of techno and weaving with popping electronica, fütwerk never fail to deliver. They have supported headliners like Deepbass, Etapp Kyle, Matrixxman and are well known in the Australian music festival circuit. While the world had slowed down around us in the past couple of months, fütwerk focused on their production projects and we can’t wait to see what is in store!

This mix is a pristine display of their talent, probably the best from them yet!

Save Your Atoll (Sardinia, Italy)

Save Your Atoll is a project born in 2019 founded by Italian artist Antonello Meloni.
His music reflects Techno and Deep Techno characterized by
hypnotic elements and soundscapes.
His path started in 2012 with Spacedrome, a roman collective
he created with some friends focused on exploring Music lsuch as Dubstep, Garage and deep Electronica.
He has performed in many Italian clubs and several international festivals such as Freqs Of Nature (DE) or Outlook Festival (CRO) as well as some important Berlin clubs such as Hoppettosse, Acud Macht Neu, Mensch Meyer among others.
He published several Ep´s with Spacedrome on labels such as Elastica Records, Deep Electronics, Whoyostro, Spclnch, Abyssal Audio among others.
In late 2020 he is planning to release the debut album of this new
project.

Captain Cosmotic DJ Set At Gogbot Festival 2020

One of the great powers music has is to synchronize our senses with a specific place, time, and feeling. Anja Zaube utilizes this aspect well, whether it be through her blissfully cathartic DJ sets or her intentional and well-executed live sets. Here we are presented with the latter,  an excursion into the depths of Anja's personal sonic universe that brings us into the elements and out of the body. Layered with thickets of field recordings, live synth work, and delicately pulsating percussion, it plays as one long-form piece that gradually shifts and seduces the mind. With close ties to ://about blank and the Berlin underground, Anja channels a certain mystique and sound that is characteristic of all that goes on here.
