Stately Records' first digital release comes from the promising producer Dubtommy, who previously released on trendsetting Dub Techno labels like Alessandro Crimi's Waehlscheibe and Kiril Matveev's Mixcult. Besides that Tommy is a well known face in the Amsterdam underground, not in the last place because of his infamous sets at legal and lesser legal raves. During the day you can find him helping and advising likeminded vinyl enthusiasts at one of Amsterdam's favorite record shops, Killacutz.

PREMIERE: Dubtommy - North Dub [Stately Records]

Peter Kersten, and his main production and DJing alias, Lawrence, have become very heavily associated with the deep, aquatic house since the turn of the millennium.
But less widely known than his house and ambient work as Lawrence and as a co-founder of legendary German label Dial, is his production work as Sten. Having not been released as Sten since 2008, Kersten makes a powerful comeback with “Earthshine” - a 12-track LP on Sushitech.

Most of the album is dance-floor oriented, with some more laid-back bits. One of the tracks that will surely make many club appearances over the next few months is 'Freewalk', a piece revolving around its trance-influenced stabs.  It features Lawrence’s signature percussive work and punchy kicks, and we are honored to premiere it today.

Take a listen and try to resist the urge to nod your head along or fidget with your feet. Sten is back. Nature is healing.

Dycide’s new album ‚Cult of the Black Moon‘ marks a powerful turn to the deep Drum and Bass realm, demonstrating a refined evolution in his sound. With a rich blend of tribal percussive elements and his signature, highly detailed sound design, the album presents a compelling fusion of old and new. Innovative rhythms break free from typical drum and bass conventions, offering something unique and extraordinary.  Dycide’s mastery of the grey area—where the lines between genres blur—is evident throughout. 
In this sonic journey, the listener is invited to explore a space that feels both ancient and futuristic—a place where the myths and legends of the universe live, whispered in the shadows of distant stars. Legends of the cosmos often speak of hidden forces and forgotten realms, places where the boundaries between reality and myth blur. Cult of the Black Moon taps into this mystical narrative, conjuring an audio experience that feels like a transmission from the farthest reaches of space. Each track seems to echo the stories of celestial bodies and cosmic events, where the line between creation and destruction is thin, and the unknown reigns supreme.
This thematic depth is complemented by the closing remixes from MTRL and Tenzia. These remixes not only add fresh interpretations to the existing tracks but also bring an added layer of complexity and dynamism to the album.

Sharing its name with the LP, Cult of the Black Moon, it feels thematic, capturing the transformative pull of the moon - immersive and powerful. Released on co-founded IO Records, the EP will be available in digital format on 28th November.
