Techno fused with Hardcore across the board, some darker more industrial sounding stuff, as well as that classic oldskool Gabber sound.

Pretty soon after I discovered Glasgow based Kenny Campbell's content online I knew straightway he was a DJ/Producer that I wanted to contribute a mix to the Korekast series, and he hasn't disappointed !

Korekast 16.0 - Kenny Campbell

Hardcore during the late 90's, particularly in Holland had lost its way and was crying out for a new sound to invigorate the scene. 

Then in the year 2000, producers like DJ Promo and Catscan in particular stepped up and were pushing a new sound that we now know as 'Millennium Hardcore'. 

Personally, I have great memories of this era in Hardcore as it coincided with me making several journeys across the Irish Sea to England over several years to DJ at the now infamous 'Species' parties in Manchester.

I was feeling pretty inspired after Rezerection announced their return to the Royal Highland centre in Edinburgh for next year, so ! ... with that in mind I decided to throw together a mix with some of my favourite tracks from the Rez sets back in the day.
