The Sound of Species 👽 Manchester volume 1, Mr Scott v Fusco. 

Species was a hardcore techno club night based out of Manchester England that I was fortunate enough to be invited to play at on a number of occasions from early 2000 to mid 2000. it left an important mark on the underground scene in the North of England as it was responsible for bringing some influential artists within the hardcore scene to the U.K for the first time. 

Species continue to put on one-off shows in Manchester.Keep an eye on their social media for details.

This mix captures the sounds of the infamous Species club nights held mainly at the Park nightclub in Manchester, but also at various other venues across the North West of England. 

Species ran regularly from the late nineties until around mid 2000, with international Dj's such as Neophyte, Dj Promo, Lenny Dee and Don Diablo (amongst many others) headlining at various events alongside resident Dj's. 

Volume 1 of this mix series features Species resident Dj/promoter Scotty (aka Mr Scott) and Aidan Fusco (aka Mr Fusco) play some of the hardcore tracks that featured in their hardcore b2b Dj sets at Species.
