We’re excited to announce our newest collective member, Ogazón! 

To celebrate her residency, we decided to share her three-hour set recorded at Left Bank during her stay in September. 
Not bound to a sound in particular, Luxemburgish/Spanish artist's recording uncovers her genuine skill and passion in selecting the blissful tones for the dancefloor.

XDB is Kosta Athanassiadis – German by birth and in residence, with Greek parentage. He started djing in the early 90s and still plays vinyl only. Over the years his music was released on labels like Dolly, Harbour City Sorrow and Sistrum. In 2006 he started the record label Metrolux. There’s a refreshing lack of gimmickry to his approach – keeping it low-key allows him to be judged solely on the basis of talent. Enjoy!

GiGi FM, aka Giulia Fournier-Mercadante, is the latest refreshing addition to our REC series. Her visit at Fuse left us all in awe, and for a good reason. Fitting no stereotypes, the French/Italian artist slides with brilliance between many genres and sub-genres with a selection sharpened on the wire and a sonic twitch that one should try to follow. 

Brutal and soft at the same time, GiGi FM puts in motion a delicate setting where primitive energy collides with a myriad of sensorial textures. It's elegant. It's calibrated. In short, it's good.

GiGi FM — Recorded live at Fuse Brussels (04/02/23)

Since emerging (to most the world) on Ben Klock's Klockworks label, Ukrainian producer Etapp Kyle immediately caught attention of Berlin's techno cognoscenti, with a sound that seemed perfectly fit for the Berghain school: taut, slyly melodic and just the right amount of funky. Over the past ten years, he's refined his sound to a science, but also opened it up: his records on Ostgut Ton, particularly 2020's Nolove EP, showcase a mastery of sound and space. This is techno you can sit in, and let it wash over you.

As a DJ, Kyle is generally associated with a functional, if atmospheric style of techno (and, more recently, electro), but on his RA Podcast he invites us into something of a different space. In a way, this mix represents the spirits of his productions, with a wide-open soundscape touching on everything from '90s techno and trance, including some goodies from Canada and Denmark, along with core electronic acts like Future Sound Of London, Autechre and today's modern electronica poster-boy, Skee Mask—BPMs and genres be damned. It's a mix that veers from melancholy to emotive to ecstatic, sometimes even silly, and it's a real pleasure, capturing one of techno's more creative and restless voices.

Sevensol is undoubtedly one of the most charismatic figures to have garnered the support of music heads in recent years. He’s now based in Berlin, and a purveyor of the finest house, with a long-standing collaboration with Map.ache titled Manamana, a third of the duties at record label KANN and now Long Vehicle vying for his attention; when he isn’t enchanting crowds at De School or Nachtdigital that is. There’s nothing pretentious about him or his craft, just fun, unfussy, pleasure-inducing house with a measure of emotion woven through his mixes. Uplifting beats for breezy summer nights - if you’re looking for the perfect score for the coming months, Sevensol has you more than covered. Bassiani Podcast 176 is a cut from his set at the Morevi Records night back in June at Horoom. One that charms and channels the kind of pure optimistic peak time energy that's sure to get you moving.
