An increasingly potent driving force in today’s techno environment, Georgia has through its key clubs Bassiani, Khidi and Mtkvarze, helped Tbilisi and its surroundings shape into of the most intriguing and reliable hotspots for emerging DJs and producers. One of its most talented heralds and a surefire groove rider at that, Yanamaste graces us with a choice two hours of the entrancingly deep and bumpy 4x4 epics he’s been laying down for INNSIGNN, Lyree and Khidi in recent times. Paced-up and animal to the core, his vision sweeps an extra wide range of shades and reliefs, nimbly moving the cursor from classic Berlin-inspired blends to full-fledged magmatic trance, via Birmingham-style projections and a solid dose of folk-infused harmonics. Raw yet technical, organic with a hint of hypermodern hoodoo to it, Yanamaste’s sound is the definition of hardware techno with soul, cut to ram-raid and elevate in equal measure.

A look back at Philippa Pacho’s profound performance in our Room 01 at the positivesource showcase, which she co-founded hand in hand with Blue Hour. The Stockholm-born artist delivered a knife-edged vision to techno during a two-hour memorable set at her imprint night in Fuse.
 
Like a gentle hold, Philippa's narration is as tactile as poignant. Dark without being obscure, musing yet energetic, no one can doubt the decade of musicality that has flowed through her veins ever since. Drawn to sharp kicks or a few clipped vocals here and there, Philippa Pacho's mix is an invitation, or even more an exploration, to a complex and appealing inner world. A stand-out.

Inox Traxx is the 431st guest of our original Hate Podcast series.

Inox Traxx has been making waves with her fast-paced, hypnotic sound. Her debut vinyl EP II (2019) on Overbalance and the acclaimed House of Wax EP (2021) on Ben Sims’ Symbolism set the stage for her rise. Further releases on Hardgroove and Symbolism cemented her presence in the industry.

Based in Berlin, she thrives in an environment that pushes electronic music’s boundaries, with regular appearances at Berghain. Described by Hard Wax as “flawless, highly effective, pure Techno,” Inox Traxx joined Charlotte De Witte’s KNTXT in 2024, debuting with In My Darkness, followed by Free in 2025.
