Across it's ever-expanding catalogue, Tensnake's True Romance has become synonymous with positivity and vibrancy and has consistently delivered a stream of beatific dance floor moments. Their next release delivers again as Cologne based Claus Casper steps up with his second outing on the label - a record which follows his first on True Romance which featured Disco dignitary Gerd Janson. 

Originally flourishing against a backdrop of a burgeoning German Hip Hop scene - a young Casper caught inspiration after a party at Amsterdam's legendary IT Club. Fast forward across a 30 year career - he presents 'Le Mirage'; a single which comes galvanised with a radio edit and a stripped back dub. The glowing soul of the record is a bright, tumbling sequence which suffuses fervent chord shifts with colour. Cow bells, walking bass and bold percussive flashes add a rich sense of drama to the track while the dub dims the lights and lets the drums do the talking.

We're big fans of Joe's work for Hot Chip, The 2 Bears and of course his solo project. So we're delighted to have him on remix duties for 'Let's Go Back', giving the track some proper warehouse rave vibes.

Named after two of the three syllables their first names share, Rebekah Pennington and Rebecca Wilson are Ekkah, a Nu-Disco / Funk duo of multi-instrumentalists from the U.K. Creating relaxed dance floor bangers inspired by early 80s pop and R&B, Ekkah have reignited the need for a live disco sound which weaves soul, disco and funk into energetic pop tunes. Ekkah boast features in editorial playlists, supporting Clean Bandit and millions of streams already.

Partyline is a rolling groover from Ekkah. The standout in this track has to be the sequenced synth which underpins the entire track. Carrying the bassline and adding the structure, this is a true piece of art which Ekkah have added. This track is one which will make you smile - it evokes memories with the chorus effect on the melody which lingers on the brink of chaotic but Ekkah have managed to tame it and keep it musical. Layer upon layer of electronic fizz keep the song fresh and the vocal lead is as catchy as anything you’ll hear this year. With obvious nods to the synth wave boom of the 1980s, Partyline is a contemporary classic 👌

Dutch Nu Disco masters @kraaksmaak are back with a devastating new single on @Bombstrikes as a taster for them hosting the next 'Disco Funkin' compilation. It's the fifth in what has become a brilliant series and follows on from superb entries from Birdee, Shaka Loves You, Flevans and Natasha Kitty Katt.

The new single is a serious bit of club kit, 'Get Live Get Down' is a no messing about straight to the dancefloor slice of disco house. It packs in everything from Moroder-esque groove to driving keys, energy soaked strings, percussive loops and funky as hell vocal stabs.

As a promo for the album it's a real statement track which may surprise some of Kraak & Smaak's followers with it's delicious hands-in-the-air energy.

We absolutely love it and we've had a sneak peak at the album and you should definitely be excited too.

Since their second EP, ‘Super Classic,’ Supertaste have been honing in their sound. In a world where digital production possibilities feel endless and overwhelming, they’ve decided to focus in and expand on their live ensemble, instrumentation, and performance, now with a full band. 

Once again, the group set off for the mountains of Western Tennessee to dive into writing and recording new material, subsidised by good food, wine, views, and friends. What ensued was a body of work unlike anything they’d made. 

Dunston is a cool track. The stand out, as is often the case with Supertaste, is the bassline. A stabby, subby, almost acid bass sound performs a wonderful series of notes which would not be out of place in Mac Miller’s discography. The production quality is something you instantly notice - weaving such a wide range of sounds, textures and effects whilst maintaining clarity in the track is a difficult task and Dunston manages it brilliantly. This song oozes cool and the instrumentation is so intelligent and classy, you can’t stop listening. The reverb soaked vocals coupled with the gorgeous pads supporting them make for one of the grooviest tracks you’ll hear this year and it is one you will play at any party.

Comprising long-time friends Hans Müller (also known as KESMAR) and Wolfgang Schneider (Tim Ayre), Lazywax draws inspiration from modern European disco while keeping the retro vibes of 70s and 80s Disco gods alive. The result is a quintessentially discotheque sound that will have

It’s a transatlantic connection of grand magnitude between Kraak & Smaak and Turbotito who have linked up on the magnificently majestic summer anthem, ‘My All’. 
 
Kraak & Smaak is the Netherlands-based electronic funk trio, who are celebrating twenty years in the game. Effortlessly exploring the space between Nu-disco, Jazz, Funk and Soul, this new single follows on from their retrospective comp, ‘Twenty’.  Turbotito is the solo project of Los Angeles native Filip Nikolic, formerly of Poolside fame. With a plethora of high-profile productions, solo releases, and remixes under his belt, he really is one of the stand-out voices in his genre. 
 
With the original demo of ‘My All’ originating from a studio visit to LA, the final cut is an electrifying blend of these two vibrant acts.  Imbued with a brooding warmth and timeless charm, the relentless guitar strumming chases melancholic piano and a whole host of electronic goodness to form the sweet spot where grooving electronica and organic vibes meet in harmony. The live instrumentation providing a solid template for Turbotito’s airy vocals, all underpinned by the driving Disco bassline. Two worlds in the same solar system have collided to form this perfectly pitched togetherness track that arrives just in time for summer festival highs.  Bathed in sunny Balearic vibes, ‘My All’ exudes a captivating and nostalgic vibe that hits only the good notes.
