Tensnake's True Romance consistently omitted joy across what was still a slightly unsteady 2022 for dance music. Records from Ben Gomori, Jesse Bru and Factory Frequencies showed resilience against dance floor doubt and now - the label carries that energy forwards as it kicks off another year of positive party jams.

Number 54 in the catalogue brings with it the return of long term label friend Dan Corco. For this record, Corco makes his return alongside regular production pal Max Muller and together the duo synergise for a Disco / House crossover that whips up some fervid dance-floor tension.

'Fancy' kicks things off with a filtered funk loop which snowballs through thick, punchy drum work. Vocal flicks and a broad, spacious breakdown build up a completely irresistible vibe across a highly effective DJ tool.

'Rising High' then follows a similar format as nifty percussive elements pepper a pure party jam. Filters bring jubilant tones into focus while drums steadily fill out the frequency spectrum which works to galvanise a peak time energy.

Supertaste is an indie dance band from Brooklyn, NY. A pair with an appetite for deli sandwiches and disco. With tracks featured in the top 10 Nu-Disco on beatport, articles on Dancing Astronaut and a heap of Spotify editorials to their name, Supertase are cementing themselves in the Nu-Disco / Indie Dance scene. With DJ Mag putting Supertaste in a ones to watch list in 2021 coupled with a SPIN interview, the future's looking good for the Brooklyn duo.

Is It Enough is Supertaste all over. A funky, indie, nu-disco dance tune with a beautiful four to the floor, smooth bass and more synth layers than you can imagine. The high pitched vocals cut through a busy mix excellently as everything combines into one packed out tune which is filled with grooves and bounce. A more chilled out song, this one is perfect for any party with its sing along lyrics, moving rhythm and energetic feel.

Across it's ever-expanding catalogue, Tensnake's True Romance has become synonymous with positivity and vibrancy and has consistently delivered a stream of beatific dance floor moments. Their next release delivers again as Cologne based Claus Casper steps up with his second outing on the label - a record which follows his first on True Romance which featured Disco dignitary Gerd Janson. 

Originally flourishing against a backdrop of a burgeoning German Hip Hop scene - a young Casper caught inspiration after a party at Amsterdam's legendary IT Club. Fast forward across a 30 year career - he presents 'Le Mirage'; a single which comes galvanised with a radio edit and a stripped back dub. The glowing soul of the record is a bright, tumbling sequence which suffuses fervent chord shifts with colour. Cow bells, walking bass and bold percussive flashes add a rich sense of drama to the track while the dub dims the lights and lets the drums do the talking.

You know what to expect from Bondax. The group gained prominence primarily as a result of BBC Radio, initially through BBC Introducing Lancashire before receiving BBC Radio 1 airtime from a range of DJs including Nick Grimshaw and Annie Mac. ‘Energy' featuring Andreya Triana, Is a hazy, melancholic future classic. Rolling straight into a groovy bass accompanied by flanging guitar licks, the track comes to life with Andreya’s soulful vocals as if she is the last piece of the jigsaw.
