Russian producers ‘Cutworks’ have taken the samples from the track ‘Through the Motions’ originating from the first Transference EP and have produced a stunning remix and label highlight. In retaining the beautiful piano keys, strings, and mid-bass sounds from the original, but introducing old school, sparkling beats and wobbling cyber bass, this track is so at odds with itself that it smacks of brilliant originality. Another deep, musical track that also works the dance floor.

Orchids and Angell is an ongoing and ever-changing musical project that I developed so that I could rotate vocalist (Orchids) through at different times and continue down a single path of discovery with as little friction as possible in the mechanics of getting tracks to our listeners. I am a Composer/Producer/Engineer/Computer Scientist as well as an avid electronic music enthusiast and artist with over 25 years of experience in audio production and sound design. I have been working furiously to find time to foster and regenerate my passion for musical composition, and I think I may have found a path forward. I've had nearly a 16-year break from writing/playing with a lot of life in between (three beautiful girls) and I'm just so grateful that I've found my way back to enjoying my greatest passion once again. Future Engineers have been producing drum & bass since 1996, with releases on labels such as LTJ Bukem’s Good Looking Records, Blame’s 720 Degrees, Renegade, Partisan, and Vibez.

Transference was launched by Lee in 2010, kicking off with the Future Engineers ‘Ellipse’ EP. The label was established for Lee’s solo material as Future Engineers, but evolved to include various other projects with the likes of Electrosoul System, Sunchase, Operon, Cutworks, Radicall, Dauntless and Fuj.
