Future Engineers stride onward with their latest release, the All Inside EP, out now on Transference. This marks the duo’s first EP in 23 years, following their acclaimed Technetium EP on Good Looking Records in 2002.

Beneath the hum of overworked machines and the weary shuffle of overtired workers, a society thrives, oblivious to the ‘Torsion Fields’ grinding its foundations to dust. Each cog turns not out of choice, but necessity, fuelling a system that demands more than it gives, extracting labor and life in equal measure. Yet from this pressure, a new program emerges, not an update, but a reinvention. One that rewires the structure itself, placing sustainability over speed, dignity over deadlines, and designing a future where neither flesh nor steel is pushed past breaking to keep the world turning.

Future Engineers - Torsion Fields [Transference] - Out Now

Future Engineers have been producing drum & bass since 1996, with releases on labels such as LTJ Bukem’s Good Looking Records, Blame’s 720 Degrees, Renegade, Partisan, and Vibez.

Transference was launched by Lee in 2010, kicking off with the Future Engineers ‘Ellipse’ EP. The label was established for Lee’s solo material as Future Engineers, but evolved to include various other projects with the likes of Electrosoul System, Sunchase, Operon, Cutworks, Radicall, Dauntless and Fuj.
