Transference Radio is a podcast series hosted by Future Engineers. The aim is to focus on forward-thinking drum and bass, showcasing new music from established producers, as well as up and coming producers in the scene. The show will also include influential tracks from the past that have helped shape the drum and bass scene.

The podcast will also focus on music production, featuring producer interviews, reflecting on their workflow habits, song writing tips and their favourite plug-ins and production techniques.

Wasted talent

Have a listen to my works in progress! Maybe you’ll think they all sound like garbage too. Maybe you’ll think I need professional mental health assistance to help me with my debilitating paranoia just like George Levings told me I had! Like he said, I guess that means lessons will have to wait until my doctors say it’s okay for me to continue with teachings?

Future Engineers have been producing drum & bass since 1996, with releases on labels such as LTJ Bukem’s Good Looking Records, Blame’s 720 Degrees, Renegade, Partisan, and Vibez.

Transference was launched by Lee in 2010, kicking off with the Future Engineers ‘Ellipse’ EP. The label was established for Lee’s solo material as Future Engineers, but evolved to include various other projects with the likes of Electrosoul System, Sunchase, Operon, Cutworks, Radicall, Dauntless and Fuj.
