Last month, Bandcloud released Missives (https://soundcloud.com/bandcloud/sets/bandcloud-presents-missives), a compilation marking five years of the mailout. So far it has raised almost €700 for Irish charities Merchants Quay Ireland and Ana Liffey Drug Project.

The music is so special and varied it seemed appropriate to ask someone to mix it all together. The wonderful @ohpeach answered the call, and she's wrapped it all up with charm and style, giving the new music new life and context. Peach plays the Forbidden Fruit festival in Dublin on Sunday, June 2.

For Walking & Falling October's installment, we bring you a mix from Brooklyn-based DJ Lychee. This recording is a set they performed at Nowadays :)

A DJ, writer, and event organizer, Lychee (they/them) runs Spontaneous Affinity, a monthly mix and interview series, annual zine, and occasional event platform focused on how dancefloors have shaped artists. Most recently, they released a zine, "Behind the Party", focusing on the experience of workers in the dance music industry during the COVID-19 pandemic.

With a very slow build of industrial and ambient tones, Lychee weaves their way through tunes effortlessly. By the second half they pick up the pace, having us longing for the dance floor with bouncy techno grooves. It's a collage of sounds that we hope you all will dig!

Toronto-based DJ and artist, Matt Kuscheln, fell in love with the rave in high school. Boys Noize's classic 'Oi Oi Oi' album sparked a flare inside of him and after almost ten years as a dedicated raver, Kuscheln finally made his DJ debut three years ago. He is most inspired by the crossroads where hedonistic queer clubbing intersects with playful yet challenging electronic music and has spent the last few years cutting his teeth playing for the likes of Phile and Por Detroit. Kuscheln curates two hours of wonky rhythmic techno and proggy breakbeat for our latest Cookie Series #041.

For the 18th entry in the Fun Fun Mix series, we present Ron Like Hell, the Brooklyn based dj and co-founder of Wrecked, a NYC based music first queer dance party. Ron is also the buyer for Academy Records Brooklyn. He has dj'ed Cocktail d'Amore often on the main floor as Wrecked and its side room Cosmic Hole in Berlin, plus Whole Festival (DE), Bucharest (RO), Stockholm (SE), Oslo (NO), Paris (FR) and CDMX. Throughout the USA, he has pleased dancefloors at Honey Soundsystem, San Diego's Bouquet and Spotlight LA, Men's Room in Chicago, Club Toilet and Suck It! in Detroit and the beloved Honcho festival known as Honcho Campout where we met him in 2019. While Ron continues to learn music production and practice his guitar, he has put together a mix of dubby electro, euphoric acid, breakbeat house, ebm disco and whimsical tribal textures for a colorful one hour Fun Fun trip!
