the federation mix 15 - nala brown

I first saw (a glimpse) of Rotterdam's Nala Brown in action via a small clip of her mixing togetherness that rRoxymore sent to me during ADE last year. Since there i've stumbled upon her online via mixes and her collective Ampfeminine who in their own (beautiful) words aims to add a lovely variety of colour in nightlife. The energy and expansiveness of her music really speaks to me so i slid into her DMs for a little naivetape and yep great decision - this is an incredibly tight and refreshing mix relying on all manner of sharp, broken drum patterns, warm basslines and cut-and-past aesthetics and those melodies that make you feel alive. Very honoured to have such a talented bb on board this of this series. Hope everyone is staying safe.
