PF002 // ‘Sequential Circuit’ EP marks the comeback of Hiver duo. The title track displays the melodic and ethereal sound Hiver have been shaping during the years.
‘Clouds the mind’ follows with a sleazy bass-line alongside hazy pads blending into atmospheric textures.
Giving a great addition to the originals, Adiel contributes with vibrant rhythms and sharp synths. Marco Shuttle up the tempo on the other side with his clever use of percussive elements and floatings sounds.

PF002 Hiver - Sequential Circuits

While creating the track "Stay with me," I aimed to build a strong Drum & Bass rhythm. I carefully selected the drum and bass elements to create an energetic and memorable foundation. I tried to keep the melody simple yet impactful, so it could convey both movement and emotion to the listener. My inspiration came from everyday life and the relationships around me; therefore, the track creates an atmosphere that invites you to dance while carrying an intimate feeling.

Phasey Over You (WIP)

The debut co-op release by DIRTY GLASSEZ and N95 brings together the best of both worlds, combining a melancholic atmosphere with ghetto tech/footwork aesthetics.

CLOUDTEK reworks the aesthetics of the digital positivity and glossy futurism of the 2000s into a more mature, minor key form. Simple ringtone vaporwave melodies take on a thoughtful sound, shimmering in an ambient haze. Drums borrowed from ghetto genres add a special energy to the music.

At the intersection of two extremes — lively ghetto and airy futurism — cloudtek emerged, manifesting itself in a scattering of contradictory genres

BAR Rotterdam residents and all-round executives Jetti & Post getting us right back to the club with this one-hour rave orientated mix series. These two can’t live without a decent diversity and solid nightlife culture around them. “Being in Rotterdam makes us a bit rough around the edges, which can be found in our selection. Being the bookers of Bar Rotterdam made us expand our taste in music. We have so many favourite artists!”

As of today, The main focus of the duo is at Bar Records. The record label that came out of the Rotterdam club already is set to release nr. 07 in their catalog. “In this mix series, we are playing 2 new tracks of the upcoming release which will be out around spring. It’s nice that we can release music from artists we love so much, but the thing we are looking forward to the most is to start up our Bar events again.” The crew is planning to collaborate with concepts like Isburning and Jetti & Post are taking the next steps in focussing on their DJ career. For our next trip Down The Stairs, we return much closer to home (well, it is home for 1/2 of 2Sox) and are ridiculously delighted to bring you 1/2 of Inverness club night, mix series, digital label, online premiere maestros AND previous DTS guests - Hypnotic Groove! ( @hypno_groove )

Andrea ( @andrea-gilbert-mac )has been at the forefront of pushing a wide spectrum of electronic music from her Highland base for a number of years. Whether it's the fabled, sweaty, Inverness club nights, guest mixes on Rinse FM or pushing brand new music via premieres, Andrea's finger is always on the pulse.

So, it goes without saying, inviting her to go DTS has been on our radar for a fair while (aka too long).

For this trip, Andrea puts the pounding techno largely to one side and focuses on a more 2020/21 appropriate sound, with a delightful journey guaranteed to make you drift, relax and think of good times gone and ahead. With a fair nod to those aforementioned sweaty club nights towards the end of the mix. A much needed and enjoyable shift in direction for the DTS series in general too.
