When it comes to a certain strand of deep house, Tsuba is unstoppable at the moment. The label has just revealed they've secured an EP from the much-loved Galcher Lustwerk, but before that they're debuting Luvless with the Luv Machine EP. Fans of Mic Newman's music on Tsuba will warm to this with tracks like "Down With You Baby" sharing that same laid-back vibe heard in some of the Australian's earlier productions, while its soft vocals are similar to fellow Melbourne producer The Tortoise. "Be Mine" is driven by a strong sustained lead with sprinklings of disco drums and basslines with some classic filtering, while the title-track is a deep, yet light, euphoric house jam.

I just found out my remix of Tevo Howard's "Boing Pop" has been included - without my approval - on the Hed Kandi Beach House 2014 compilation. I usually feel honoured when my music is selected for these types of things but I mean Hed Kandi is this total horror-conglomerate that uses retarded imagery drawn straight from the sexual fantasies of horny twelve year old boys to pimp a very sad idea of house music to the masses, so this time I just feel depressed. What's worse is that the owner of Rebirth (the label who originally released my remix) edited the track - again without my approval - into something shorter and clumsier, completely fucking up the flow of the music. The south of Portugal strikes again via OEJ with a new set of deep, romantic groovers crafted by Adriana Lourinho and Igor Inácio (Portimão, Algarve); the real-life couple of DJ's, record collectors and synth operators otherwise known as Roundhouse Kick. Their 1st release 'ARM1X' was a favourite of DJ's like Jackmaster, Dan Avery or JD Twitch, and this one seems to be following the same path, creeping into the sets of legendary DJ TLR (Creme Organization) in the form of a remix by Mind Safari - a promising new talent in the portuguese scene with sick, jacking drum tracks on labels like AVNL and Extended plus his own blog/podcast Batida committed to showcase the finest in underground electronic music.

Future Times is very pleased to introduce this killer 12" to the globe, a serious disc by JACK J. His 12" for Mood Hut last year flipped many wigs and this 12" is further proof that the dude is full-fledged. "Thirstin'" takes the day-in-the-life quintessence of "Something (On My Mind)" even farther, using his voice to beautify the sparkling, spaced track. The B-Side "Atmosphère" is just as mighty, as Jack channels a velvet Patrick Adams vibe in this gorgeous instrumental, the pianos in particular take the song to a galactic place. Both tracks feel like you could live inside them, each as good for walking around This Life chillin' as they are for the party. Essential Summer Music.

It's been a happy spectacle watching our friends at Lobster Theremin grow into the pink-bellied beast we see before us today. Their following has grown almost as quickly as their roster, snowballing via a release schedule that's as strong as it is frequent: a consistently welcome serve-up of Motor City-inspired house, dreamscape acid and narcotic techno. 

Late last year, Camp Lobster drilled deeper into the spectrum with Mörk, the label's darkling sub-imprint and home to its gloomiest techno. This week they inaugurate a new imprint, Distant Hawaii – a summer off-shoot for beach-coasting sunshine house. And its first release is exactly that: a wonderfully deep debut for Manchester man Hidden Spheres. 'Waiting' is our pick of the litter: a glowing thumper that's all butter-melt Rhodes lines, ecstatic vocal whoops, and tons of playful percussion. The perfect summer jam, basically – coming to a terrace near you very soon.

Reworking a big tune is never a simple task, especially if after 7 years the tune in question is still one of the highlights in
shows of one of the worlds most beloved live act performers, KiNK.
That’s only half of the story though, as the tune got a lot of love from so many DJ’s all over the globe.
However, for the 17th burek release, we wanted to do something really special and what could be better than giving new
life to a piece of music which literally gave life to our label. And we gathered some very interesting people for the job.
A1 KiNK - Leko (Kink’s Bass Shake Version) is a rework by none other thank KiNK himself. The original is a party
monster as it is, so Strahil opted for an alternative approach that sheds an interesting light on a familiar song. Huge
resonating bassline

A2. In 2013 KiNK had an successful E.P. with Rachel Row called Follow The Step which had a major impact on both of
their careers. Later while touring with Rachel she had an idea to put some vocals on top of the first Leko track, which
now turned into a completely different, slow track with the familiar piano melody.

B1 KiNK - Leko (Session Victim Remix) is a wonderfully subdued take on the original. It keeps all the main elements we
all know and love, and enriches them with a more percussive feel, well placed guitar licks and an overall easier mood. All
that said, don’t make a mistake with thinking this is something for the living room as this one’s made for those special
daytime/sunset/sunrise moments when a tune like this turns the situation into something everyone will take home with
them.
B2 KiNK - Leko (Original Version) is the tune, in all it’s glory and attitude. Full-fledged peak time house track which turns
every party into a steaming pit of bodies asking for more. Too hot to ignore.
