Sebas LP - First Steps [South America Avenue]

Marcos Vidou makes his debut on 3rd Avenue with his two-track Passion Between EP, featuring the title track alongside "Rhythmic Fever." At just 19 years old, the Buenos Aires-based DJ and producer has already made an impact in the progressive house scene. Influenced early on by Argentine rock and progressive legends like Pink Floyd, Marcos transitioned into electronic music at the age of 16, drawing inspiration from artists such as Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, and Sasha. His productions are known for their groovy basslines, solid drums, and melodic touch, while always staying true to his progressive roots.

At 17, Marcos signed his first track, Softys, on Soundteller Records, gaining support from key figures like Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren. This early success motivated him to continue his path as an artist, leading to releases on notable labels like Balkan Connection South America, AH Digital, and South America Avenue. With support from top-tier DJs such as Nicolas Rada, Ezequiel Arias, and DJ Ruby, Marcos Vidou is quickly establishing himself as a rising talent in the progressive house world.

Marcos Vidou - Passion Between [3rd Avenue]

As 2024 winds to a close Madloch's Sound Avenue welcomes George Alhabel to the label for his debut EP. Hailing from Australia, George Alhabel first emerged in 2020 on the strength of releases for Balkan Connection South America and Electronic Tree. Noted for his nostalgic progressive sound, the Sydney resident was quickly tipped as a new artist to watch going forward. Sound Avenue affiliate 3rd Avenue would also serve as a landing spot in George's first year of production, with an appearance on the label's popular ‘We Are the Future' series. The charming sounds of ‘6:27' proved to be a highlight on the collection, a track which would spearhead subsequent projects for Mango Alley, MNL and One Of A Kind, amongst others; across the next three calendar years. With 2024 being highlighted by ‘Sense of Nonsense', his debut single for long-standing UK imprint Stripped Recordings, George now adds Sound Avenue to his resume with ‘Surface Shift', alongside remixes from Around Us, Gonzalo Sacc and Freedo Mosho.
