My second original release of the year comes in the form of a track I started back in 2019 B.C. (Before Corona) 😷 this track showcases a 1992 voice recording of American ethno-botanist, Terence McKenna, reciting his experiences of using LSD and DMT simultaneously. The use of repetitive bass and pluck sounds, as well as melody runs, makes for a hallucinogenic experience (even if you're sober) 💊
This single is set for streaming release on both my Soundcloud page and YouTube channel, as well as on all major music platforms for those who prefer Apple Music, Spotify, etc. 🌍

Am 15.09.2015 wurde KataHaifisch in Form einer Podcastreihe auf dem Portal SoundCloud ins Leben gerufen. Das Ziel war es eine Plattform für DJs und Newcomer zu schaffen. In den vergangenen 5 1/2 Jahren entwickelten sich doch sowohl die Träume, als auch Ziele und Pläne für KataHaifisch weiter. 
Das Team wurde größer und die zu bewältigenden Aufgaben mehr. Neben dem wöchentlichen (ehemals zweiwöchentlichen) Donnerstags Podcast fanden auch dutzende Premieren auf KataHaifisch ihren Platz. KataHaifisch Merchandise Kollektionen wurden konzipiert, produziert und anschließend auf der eigenen Webseite zum Kauf angeboten. Mitte Mai folgt dann auch das erste Release auf KataHaifisch als Record Label. Insgesamt bekommt Ihr 11 Tracks, auf einer Various Artist Compilation zu hören. 

Die Basis bleibt jedoch Hauptaugenmerk von KataHaifisch. Kernstück ist die Hörerschaft auf SoundCloud. Mittlerweile ist diese Community auf 20.000 Mitglieder herangewachsen. Sidney Charles & Santé have teamed up again to forge the 'Forever EP’ on Hot Creations with Russ Yallop on remix duty. Those that have witnessed their epic sets playing together will know the vibrant energy they create and this latest offering stands stead to them.

The title track ‘Forever’ uses dynamic claps, an indelible beat and a simple but effective vocal that ties all the elements together. With a playful production technique at its heart, this is a cut made for summertime. Things get a little darker with ‘Mogli’, morphing high-pitched, glitchy sounds alongside a hissing beat. On the flip side, Russ Yallop remixes ‘Forever’ to make the whole track bounce with a heavy and thick bassline.

Hamburg-born Sidney Charles has only been releasing music for four years but has already had a string of successes on labels such as 8bit, Moda Black, AVOTRE and VIVa. Berlin-based Santé is also involved with all areas of music as he DJ’s, produces, and is building on his own record label AVOTRE. Sidney Charles & Santé have previously released on Hot Creations with ‘All Night Long’ on the ‘Hot Summer Jams’ album.

Russ Yallop is a key member of the underground house scene and  is no stranger to Hot Creations; he has previously released ‘Traffic’ and ‘System Crank’ with them, whist also regularly DJing at their worldwide events. He is also an established member of the Crosstown Rebels family after first releasing with them in 2010.
