Abyss Frequency

The beach was a tropical paradise upon which beautiful people graced, it was not somewhere to see but in which to be seen. Sitting upon a sunbed he looked out at the peaceful world and took a drink from his tall glass of coco loco. The cold moisture which stuck to the side of the glass felt icy and  chilled to the touch, the sand in between his toes rustled below. The sun was scorching hot and the heat was almost too much to bare, retreating into the shade he lay down and closed his eyes. 

House Is Ok are set to release a new EP celebrating five years in business, the split EP features contributions from Kornel Kovacs, Roman Flugel and more.

Following Hammer's release on Loft Records last year, 'Canna' gets the remix treatment by four of our favourite producers. This one got pretty delayed so we are delighted to finally have it out in the world fending for itself.

Hammer - Manaka (Domenic Cappello Remix)

Johannes Albert is a producer as diverse as they come. Comfortable across all sub genres of dance music from deep house to italo disco, in Italy they call him Giovanni Alberto. He's been praised by the likes BICEP, Gerd Janson, Lauer and the Keinemusik crew, and he's only just getting started. 

The Dancing Plague EP is summer music for summer people. Opening with the hefty, wonky basslines of the club ready; TPTS. Gravy Train is a combination of grooving bass-lines and disco drums, the end result is a solid dancefloor stomper. The uniquely titled Pachanga follows, abundant with nu disco and italo references. This is a real summer track, as the sun sets in the city ahead of a huge party, the one that will entice the shyest of dancers to move. Keeping with the off the cuff track names, the EP finishes with the dusty, sun tinged Rainbow Pan.

Over the past ten years the Needwant mantra has been to push the very best in new talent, having provided the platform for the likes of Kiwi, The Mekanism, Maxxi Soundsystem, The Revenge and many more.

Heist is first and foremost a label dedicated to quality house music with an eccentric angle. Promoting great music from the Netherlands comes as a close second. After presenting a lot of notable artists from our country, it's great to showcase another young Dutch talent with our latest release: Perdu.
You might know him from his solo debut on Let's Play House or the follow up on Optimo Music last year. Perdu's music gets played by the big ones in the game like Hunee, Optimo and Palms Trax to name a few; and obviously, by us. We're proud to introduce you to his 'Skye EP'.
