​UK Hardcore or Happy Hardcore is one of the most diverse music genres in the world. It has been a big part of the Australian dance music scene, spanning over three decades, creating smiles, wonderful emotions and long lasting memories.
 

Dave PSI formerly part of Australia's number one Happy Hardcore duo “Team Rocket” is a key figurehead within the Australian UK Hardcore, Happy Hardcore rave scene. Having performed at major events such as Defqon.1, Utopia, Godskitchen, HTID, Bass Control, Godspeed, Fantasia, Hyperspeed, Mayhem, Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras and holding residencies at Sydney based super clubs Masif Saturdays and Sublime @ Home.
 

Performing and promoting events across the east coast of Australia, Dave PSI has helped shape the new resurgence in the genre that is being felt across the globe. Creating diverse events in Brisbane, Melbourne and hometown Sydney with event brands Rocket Science, Sugoi As F#=k and Kommotion. From the inception and to the evolution of the Gold Stage at the Defqon.1 festival and a regular host on the global internet radio show happyhardcore.com

Carl Grant and Tony Gallagher met on the fringes of the underground party scene in South East London. L.A. Synthesis AKA Linear System/Wave Effect was formed in South London in 1991.

Originally from Liverpool and Birmingham, respectively. Discovering a shared and relatively eclectic pool of influences ranging from Model 500 and Black Dog to Kraftwerk and systems composer Steve Reich - the pair began experimenting with their own tracks, though it wasn't until promotional copies of Agraphobia began to emerge towards the end of 1994 that the duo started to attract attention.

Agraphobia was a near-perfect debut, sewing a memorably trippy hook line (an exquisitely beautiful synth riff that was inspired by Reich's explorations in both minimalism and repetition) through a complex backdrop of clanking percussive and Detroit romanticism. Released on Plink Plonk with a Kenny Larkin remix, the single became a fixture in London's clubs, crossing over into both Detroit and ambient techno sets. 

Written and produced in 1995 and perhaps one of the most overlooked UK techno albums of the '90s. Matrix Surfer is a beautiful combination of second-generation Detroit romanticism and inventive grooves. Hard to find but definitely worth tracking down. 

Carl continues writing and producing music, and at present hosts, a monthly/radio show, Serendipity Transmits on Bloop London Radio.He his the co founder of Serendipity Transmits 24/7, his own internet radio station, who he runs alongside his brother Kenny Swann aka The Barefoot DJ, who hosts the regular podcast alongside the station. 

Playing an eclectic blend of afro, soul, boogie, movie soundtracks, to experimental, US deep house/techno, with anything else thats good in between. Expect some nice surprises on their shows.
