I listen, and I observe.

Music is my only constant.....I'll never grow sick of discovering and sharing new music.  I search here for what I hear there..then post it elsewhere in hopes I can share something new with someone else that has the same appreciation.

Originating from NY, Josh began his musical journey in the early 90s during the explosion of the electronic dance movement. His passion ignited for the underground scene on weekend nights where radio stations like Hot 97 would stream live from clubs and he would record the sets of DJ’s like Joey Beltram, Junior Vasquez and David Morales on cassette tapes.


While Josh was very passionate about many genres of music with heavy influence and admiration for bands like Pink Floyd, NIN and Radiohead, he knew he wanted to become a DJ after the first house party that he went to. And at the age of 15, he convinced his parents to get him a DJ setup and his path was set…


House parties are where Josh began DJing, connecting with his audience and learning the art of working the crowd. At the age of 16, Josh got his first gig at Club Bay Street on Staten Island which launched his club career.


While Josh was DJing and throwing parties at Staten Island clubs, he got his break with a gig at his first NYC club called The Bank. This gig was not only special to Josh being the first one in NYC, it was a Techno competition for a weekly residency at The Bank. With adrenaline flowing through his veins back in the vinyl days, Josh rose to the occasion with the support of his following, making it to the finals and winning the competition beating out a DJ from the Techno label Industrial Strength.


At the age of 17, Josh got a break and landed his first gig at the legendary club Palladium in the Engine room. Shortly after, a spot opened up on Palladium’s main dance floor where Josh began his residency opening for Grammy award winning DJ/Producer Hex Hector.


Josh would go on to take his high energy, diverse style and DJ at some of the greatest venues in NYC coined as the golden era of dance music (China Club, Exit, Limelight, Octagon, Sound Factory Bar, The Bank, Tunnel and Webster Hall) until he decided it was time to focus on raising a family and took a hiatus. 


With a fire and passion that never went away, Josh is now back and excited to be DJing again all while working on producing tracks to be released in the near future.
