Budakid’s latest musical offering is the glorious 'Loganta', a serene and synth-laced electronic trip layered to perfection. Heavenly pads soar through cloudless skies while more wispy melodic details dart about the mix to bring a frisson of excitement and celebration. B-side, 'Being And Nothingness' flips the script with a late-night sound and darker atmosphere but heart-swelling, pitched-up vocals that sound futuristic amongst the crisp, broken beats. Sophisticated neon synth motifs embellish the beats with further class and a sense of warming nostalgia.

Dutch artist Budakid is a DJ, producer, and musician known for his compelling and emotional music on labels like Diynamic, Permanent Vacation, Anjunadeep, and many more. He has toured the globe, bringing his distinctive electronic sound to clubs and festivals on every continent. He recently launched his own record label, Flores, which is sure to prove a vital outlet for his unique musical creations.

A selection of reimagined Above & Beyond hits and catalogue classics, “Acoustic III” will be released on Anjunabeats this summer.

The band have once again enlisted musical director and producer Bob Bradley to arrange and co-produce “Acoustic III”. The album is a subtle departure from the first two albums in this well-loved series. Fans can expect more uptempo arrangements, bold brass instrumentation and just the right amount of funk. In Bradley’s words: “More Quincy Jones and a little less orchestral, with some really intimate moments.”

“Acoustic III” will feature completely new arrangements of some of the biggest hits from Above & Beyond’s #3 Billboard Hot 100 Album “Common Ground”, including Northern Soul, My Own Hymn and Happiness Amplified, plus reinterpretations of 2019 club singles ‘There’s Only You’ and ‘Waltz’.
The album is set for release in summer 2020 on Anjunabeats and will be supported by a tour of some of the most prestigious concert venues in the UK and North America, including London’s Royal Albert Hall and The Alexandra Palace Theatre, New York’s Radio City, The Kennedy Centre in Washington DC, plus the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles and Berkeley. The tour culminates with a special performance at Red Rocks Amphitheatre on July 1, accompanied by the Colorado Symphony.
