I recently played at Sol Awakening up in Flagstaff, AZ. Thank you to Sway for getting me on the bill there. And thank you to Adam for letting me play on his amazing art car with that Void Soundsystem!! There is a lot of the same songs but not the same mix I did up there. It was held at a magical spot up there called Playa Ponderosa. I created this mix about a month before over at Rob Lichtenstein's smoke shop in Tempe called "Up in Smoke". Thank you Rob. I just want to say to anyone out there.... You can do anything in life. It's all about starting it today, not tomorrow, or in a week or a year....today.

Here's the mix that started it all. So...back in the day right. I was working at an AV warehouse gig and Dave Biederman walked in to exchange a mixer that wasn't working right. And I was like hey bro you down with some electronic music? House? House music?! And he was sure I'll check this out. I didn't hear back from him for a couple of weeks. Until he hit me back on Myspace and it was then that he said that Mix you did bro is great. Like is really great. I've been making copies of it  I'm like what?! What do you mean copies??? I've been burning copies of them to hand to friends. At this point I'm like what is really going on.  Right. He tells me that he has been burning like 100s of theses and been giving them out at shows. I'm like what? hundreds this is madness.....
Anyways he asked me to play at the loft on Mill Ave. And that is how I met a lot of you people. 
Sometimes in life you gotta take a chance.
What I'm learning is...

This was a wild way to kick off my introduction to Wookiefoot and Shangri-la festival. I just finished my set at the Sanctuary then was asked by Rich thank you by the way, to play some music before Vincent Anton at the Harmonium Stage. Such a great experience to share some Berlin vibes with everyone there. Thank you so much for Georigia, James, Laura, Jo-Jo, and of course Rich who handled the logistics of the this pop up set before the music happened. I am so grateful to have so many beautiful friends that love and appreciate music as much as I do.
