Formed in 2007, Hijacked quickly established itself as a fundamental part of York’s underground scene, with a reputation for putting on nights with a fantastic atmosphere and great music, playing host to DJs and live acts from all over the UK, at clubs, free parties and festivals across the North of England.

Originally a breaks and electro night, Hijacked is a night that refuses to be confined. An open mind to music and to DJ’ing that has seen it evolve over the years, along with its supporters, residents, collaborators, promoters and DJs, to put on some of the most memorable nights on the underground scene. 

Recent years have seen the Hijacked residents return to their spiritual home of techno, establishing the night as one of York’ only out-and-out techno nights and differentiating it from the crowd with a unique sound, energy and atmosphere. The Hijacked residents themselves bring years of experience, quality and great taste in music to the floor, united as they are by a common taste for dark, underground music and dancing, as well as a passion for playing the music they love to people on the dance floor.

Taking up residency in Mansion Underground in 2013, Hijacked will be continuing to bring their unique sound to the party with some of the best established and up-and-coming names on the UK techno scene.


Michael Wiesenfarth aka The Freek Macheen was born in 1975 in Mutlangen Germany.In the age of 14 he started to make Mixtapes with Miami Bass Records.He also had a lot of experience with rapping , breakdancing and scratching through the following years.In 2001 he was for a short time well known for his scratching and mixing skills as a DJ in a small Club in Germany. He started producing music in 2005.  Michael’s debut album “Frozen Blood” was released in September 2009 with his most known Track Bladerunner, on the Canadian Label Intelligenix.He also had a few Releases on the German Label Battery Park Studio. On this Label he Released his well known Track Return of The Funk.This Track reached #1 in the Street Sound Electro Charts. In November 2010 he started his own Label Eisblock Records.To this day he released more than 20 Albums,Singles,EPs on Eisblock Records.In 2015 he did a Remix for EFK Force - "This Bass is Bionic" ,which was released as a 4 Track Vinyl. His musical influences are Dynamix II, Egyptian Lover, Afrika Bambaataa, 2 Live Crew and Maggotron as well as many more electro artists.  His unique style includes robotic voices and 808 kick drums.

Past:

Began its first journey in this analog audio when
father had to go changing the needle on your turntable when only
I was 3 years old!. Years later and always experience while in
her room with pots, radio and computers, Luis starts
Disc-Jockey debut as pubs and bars in the community of Aragon.
And learning a trade in the world that allows you to night
develop sets full of energy and seriousness. His passion for music
takes a professional in the sale of vinyl records and assemble your
own business, the prosperity of those years leading Louis to organize
various parties with renowned DJs in nightclubs, forming
and part time musical movement of the time. Is later
called up for one of the most significant rooms not to say
that most of the community. There he works managing the record store
vinyl and acting in the disco and pubs with the same
their resident DJs.

Present:

After five years of rest, meditation and music searches now
dedicated to music production actually doing what emerges, looking
always serious reasons and high voltage soundscapes. Likes
much remixing those wonderful subjects that used to put in their
first sets while forging his own style as a producer. All
Luis makes this plus a DJ / Producer from head to toe.
Bojo now and the beats that move, opted for
the Psy-Trance in all its variations are not ceasing elsewhere
alias musical styles such as electro 80 `s, Scouse House, Hard Style
etc ....

Future:

Who knows?? nobody knows the future but would not hurt to have health
love and money that is ultimately most important.
