DJ, producer and La Pyramide label owner @egesaglam has remixed @minstrel_music's sophomore single 'Singularis'.

The original mix that was the second installment of a series of releases by Minstrel which came to life as a trilogy was first out on Ethereal Future Music, one of the sub-labels of Future Forward Music in September 2020. Having vocals from an old Bulgarian folk song, 'Singularis' brims with a gothic atmosphere that makes listeners feel like they are on a turbo-charged time machine.

Ege Saglam's remix for 'Singularis' has been recently heard with its mixed format on Future Forward Music's 40-track compilation 'The Void'. Now the full-length version is ready to hit listeners straight between the eyes. Ege Saglam's touch triggers a straight-up hypnotic mood resulting in the fact that it takes everybody around beyond their senses.

Minstrel - Singularis (Ege Saglam Remix)

Sound designer and electronica producer @bahadirhankocer releases his new single “Wechwieb” on Future Forward Music. Demonstrating a playful expression of the artist’s musical adventure, “Wechwieb” is an archetypal manifestation of an otherworldly synthesis, harmony and micro-rhythmical structures as well as a representation of a meticulously designed mechanical dancefloor material. The shorter version of “Wechwieb” already made an impact with its inclusion in Future Forward Music’s groundbreaking compilation mix album “The Void” in March 2021. Now the full-length original mix is here as a standalone single.

The pillowy ambience of the track is driven forward by focussed percussion patterns and Bahadırhan Koçer’s skills on advanced digital sound processing methods come through in this special audio experience. As such, “Wechwieb” is an outcome of a sonic expression which elegantly parallels the inherent nature of narration in musical form.

@krcl_music kicks it up a notch with his new single 'Looking' on Future Forward Music. The Frankfurt-based artist's new track is a follow up to his collaborative tune 'Not All' and packed full of energy and euphoria. After a year of the global pandemic with club culture and dance music industry being hit the hardest, the feeling of escapism which live events offer has been lost. With this mood of tenderness, KRCL decided to hit the studio again and see what he could come up with, and 'Looking' is the result. The pulsating synth sounds, driving percussions and in-your-face stab arrangements are backed up by arpeggiated lead lines and enigmatic vocal chants. 'Looking' is a pure feel-good track with the injection of a soothing sonic therapy we need right now.

Istanbul-based producer/DJ trio @triartmusic release a brand-new single titled 'Oblivion' which marks their first new track in 2021. The trio, consisting of Furkan Kilicaslan, Gorkem Gokkaya and Ensar Sahin who got to know each other at the beginning of high school years and whose childhood dreams gathered them in the Triart project, continue to chase their story to create a common aesthetic in their music coalescing with art where powerful emotions emerge and sounds from a diverse range of genres are blended with each other.

Triart's brand-new single 'Oblivion' stands for a change in their storytelling up to now which has been conveyed to fans via a tetralogy of releases from 2019 onward. Despite they turn over a new leaf in their storytelling, they keep going on their signature sound. In times we gradually start to unchain ourselves as normalization is on the front burner of the globe, it's time to forget the past for the trio. In their new single, Triart focuses more on steady grooves that are adorned with contemporary peak-time flavours and instantly catchy melodies. When the mighty synth hook comes into play, the precisely built atmosphere of the track ramps things up. 'Oblivion' signifies the start of a new narrative for Triart, but it doesn't mean they give up discovering new zones in the darker end of the spectrum.

Some times the music just magically comes out, and that is the case here with "Syria" by new Sol*Selectas artist Unders from Amsterdam. After several successful tunes above the 120 BPM mark on labels like Sincopat and Groove On, "Syria" was Unders' first attempt at slower grooves, and an accidental experiment that just "fell into place, and was automatic magic". Syria's current political unrest is all over the news and social media, and the story being painted is difficult to watch. Driven to create a song which goes against all the negative publicity, Unders says "between all the negativity, the more i looked into the situation, the country, its people and its culture, the more this track reminded me of so much beauty the media doesn’t portray." The song itself a slow minimal trip with chopped up guitar licks, and a gorgeous flute sample that takes the listener to far off desert lands. Satori is yet another up and coming producer from the Netherlands, gaining instant recognition sharing the stage and studio with Acid Pauli, and producing incredible tunes utilizing live instruments played by himself, and tastefully incorporating these with electronic elements. His remix preserves the original message of "Syria" lowering the BPM to an even more hypnotic 104 BPMs. Satori adds middle eastern strings and chords, swapping out the original vocal for a more Saharan inspired call, and even plays delicately with some acid sounds furthering the listeners journey. 
Both songs are meant to invoke peaceful images of Syria, and conjure up positive intention on the dance floor. Sol*Selectas is very excited to present the debut song "Syria" from Unders, and the amazing remix by Satori, two artists from the Netherlands you would do well to keep your eyes and ears open to in 2016.

In 2015 Artbat made a loud statement and asserted themselves with a ‘Mandrake’ EP released on Definition:Music. The very first effort from this Ukrainian electronic project resulted in critical acclaim and warm reception by the local and foreign audience. It&#39;s powerful, full-bodied and hypnotizing sound won respect from many DJs of worldwide fame, including Umek, Maceo Plex, Richie Hawtin and Sasha.

Artbat was formed by two experienced deejays and producers from Kiev - Artur and Batish. Their portfolio builds upon a series of about 10 successful releases that charted globally and conquered numerous dancefloors all over the world. Such tracks as ‘Mandrake’, ‘Saltation’ and ‘Chivvy’, released by Definition:Music, paved their way to the international popularity. Though their major step forward – a release on Diynamic Records run by a world star DJ Solomun - is yet ahead.

Aside from Artbat’s popularity, the sheer amount of gigs in their tour schedule has skyrocketed too. Their DJ sets always deliver a wall of unrestrained energy and musical revelation. Artur and Batish fancy surprising their public with brand new releases, IDs and white-labels, unpredictable tracks and exclusive promos – their live shows can be compared to sharing and receiving in return.

In Summer 2016 Artbat’s touring geography has expanded not only along the ranks of the best Ukrainian clubs, but successfully extended the nightlife world capital and club epicenter Ibiza. The Ukrainian electronic duo’s name has frequently appeared on the lineup at the Destino night club.
