Release Info: 
One of the TAU family's prodigious talents, Upercent, returns for a four-track expedition into the creative expanse of his brilliant mind. Uper- cent's unique sound, blending organic with synthetic and unorthodox effects, has captivated dance floors around the world. Unsurprisingly, his ability to weave stirring melody and emotive storylines into his productions has led to releases with Innervisions, Kompakt and Watergate, as well as several outings with TAU. With Etapa Plena, Upercent further solidifies his distinct sound... The EP opens with 'Tranqui Tronco', a nifty roller driven by dense percussion. A repeated vocal motif appears as the intro guides the listener into the first breakdown. Upercent's use of unusual sounds and effects demonstrate his unmistakable sonic fingerprint, as the cut increases in vibrancy. Another breakdown raises the temperature even higher and the track rolls out with the same contagious, driving rhythm. 'Nuquelar' follows, with a deep tribal rhythm oscillating at its core. As we dive head first into this cut, hefty drums and a range of urgent chimes and instrumental licks add depth. Warped vocals are also looped into the fold, creating a cacophony of odd sounds as Upercent carefully builds the tension with a huge breakdown. The energetic release brings us back down to Earth with the persistent rumble of booming drums taking the track to its conclusion. The penultimate cut is 'Tempesta', another dark and dense composition. Upercent's talent for keeping it simple yet engaging, and just that little bit different, is evident here from the very start. This cut's dramatic narrative keeps you locked in, as the percussion especially plays out a capti- vating story. A moment of peaceful reflection is injected at the midpoint, before we're immersed in sonic theatrics once more. Moody drums and solemn bass giving this one its gloomy atmosphere. Finally, 'Ruta' closes the EP with its insistent energy. In typical Upercent style, this cut develops in a considered manner with layers of sound building steadily, cultivating a sinister atmosphere. The voice of a maniacal character enters the fray halfway through, accentuating the unset- tling vibes. An ominous tone pervades throughout, leaving the listener fully immersed in the dark side as the EP comes to an end...

True Romance continue to omit varying shades of summer with a head-twisting record courtesy of Dolomiti based duo Gian Pietro Dragoni & Tiziano Santomaso a.k.a GiZa DJs.

'Revelation' kicks things off with a heady and cinematic production that dials in a dramatic night-time-drive vibe from the off. Flickering synths pull the track forwards as they percolate over a subby foundation. Tension is developed through melodic layering and adroit FX management as warm sweeps gradually seep through the fabric of the record forming blots of pastel-toned colour that eventually grow into a wide, mesmerizing tapestry that is guaranteed to send festival floors into a dizzy spin.

FINNEST music presents, Around the World, a series of compilations where it shows the talent of many artists from different countries, in its first release, Panama Gems selected by Sergio Bennett and mixed by the veteran Panamanian artist Charles Bell. In the first place, Our First Time' by Glenn Gonzalez, one of the most important electronic music producers in Panama, owner of the 'Midnight Movement' label, first class deep house with an increasing progressive sound and a mix sublime, the bassline and the kick drive the track while the pads and melodies are in charge of telling the story, fantastic. As the second cut, 'Room 1993' by Rick González, a Panamanian artist who makes his world debut as a producer with FINNEST with this brutal track full of groove, with a vocal and some melodic stabs that will hymnotize you, has a sound of the 2000s fascinating, we love it too much. It is the turn of the residents, the Venezuelan DartZero75 based in Panama and a fundamental pillar of the nights on Selina's rooftop in the heart of Casco Antiguo, along with his partner Mōiqe bring us, 'Tribal Analog' a track with Afro House sounds very fresh with the essence of her country in the rhythmic base and piano melodies that transcend beyond the human ear, the drop is perfect to explode the dance floor. Very cool! The fourth track comes from one of the house artists, and an important part of the scene in the country, Gerard R, also a Venezuelan living in Panama already signed to our sister label Yet Records, presents us with 'Bam Bam', a minimal deep cut with a spectacular groove and a solid base that makes clubs with great sound equipment tremble from their foundations, the vocal stabs finish completing this great work, nice. As fifth cut, 'Hip Hip Oh' by the Colombians 'Bryan Kush' and 'Nicholls (Col)' both based in Panama, the latter being responsible for the management of the famous promoter 'Booth' in the country. With minimal sound we can fly through the effects that the guys have used on the track, the base sounds very forceful and the vocal with hip hop nuances just drives us crazy, the scratch effect is very original and different from the usual, Bravo! The last cut of the compilation is by an artist from the interior, 'Nislo Rudas' born in Panama and with a notable international career, he delights us with 'Voices', the most minimal track of the release, with nuances of the Romanian sound that makes us immerse ourselves in an unprecedented melodic atmosphere, the crunchy background is essential and the vocals give it the necessary stop to be able to explode again, the low frequencies are in their precise place and everything sounds beautiful. Brilliant. To finish we can enjoy a Dj Mix by Charles Bell, one of the best curators in the country and with the greatest weight in the scene, if you want to consolidate yourself in the city, you must have his blessing hehehe, great job friend!
