Highly inspired by the original song, the Dutch dj/producer Arcando is bringing back the throwback vibes with his massive drum & bass cover of arguably the most iconic rock song of all time: The Killers - Mr. Brightside. Successfully harnessing the electric pop rock atmosphere of the original song, while giving it an extra round of energy accompanied by Livingston Crain’s distinguishable vocal work, the cover is set to be one of the most interesting DnB releases in the late 2023.

After going viral on TikTok and reaching millions of views with his drum & bass directed content creation, the release of ‘Mr. Brightside’ officially kickstarts Arcando’s transition into drum & bass, after years of producing a wide range of different genres of electronic dance music. Coming off hot from his viral remix for the superstars Alok, The Chainsmokers & Mae Stephens and their hit single ‘Jungle’, the Dutch dj/producer Arcando doesn’t show any signs of slowing down by already gearing up for his next single release, to be released on February 23rd on Future Generation.

Titled as ‘When I’m Gone’, the song is an electric fusion of various different EDM genres - future bass, melodic bass and drum & bass. Sticking out of the mix is the singer/songwriter Micah Martin, whose fiery yet emotional rock-infused singing gives the song a whole new sense of depth and distinctiveness, molding the electronic production with a sleight of rock influences into a standout ‘Rocktronic’-single.

After Martin Garrix broke the internet by playing Arcando's drum & bass remix of Alok & The Chainsmokers - Jungle at Ultra Miami mainstage, the Dutch dj/producer Arcando keeps up with the momentum by releasing his aggressive drum & bass single 'Don't Tell Me'. The single showcases Arcando’s heavier and darker side of drum & bass productions, being capable of producing all kind of bass orientated music ranging all the way from the radio-orientated commercial remixes to the fierce club weapons. After Martin Garrix broke the EDM online community by playing Arcando’s official drum & bass remix of Alok & The Chainsmokers - Jungle on Ultra Miami mainstage, the Dutch multi-talent Arcando has been on everyone’s lips in the aftermath of the feature, cementing him as one of the fastest rising acts on the scene.

In addition to the popular Jungle remix, Arcando’s first half of 2024 consists of the official remixes for the superstars Tom Walker (‘Head Underwater’) and Jax Jones & Zoe Wees (‘Never Be Lonely’), electric singles ‘Don’t Tell Me’ and ‘Get So Lost’ in April and May, and his debut release on DnB Allstars in June.
