Italian tech house stalwarts NiCe7 make their long-awaited return to DFTD with ‘Bad Advice’, a two-track release showcasing their dancefloor-bending style at its finest. With their 2014 DFTD smash ‘Time To Get Physical’ coming as one of the biggest club records of a seminal era in house, now ‘Bad Advice’ sees the duo deliver another future heater with all the promise of their last output on the imprint. Kicking off with the title track, featuring a catchy vocal hook delivered by Mikey V, a gloriously bumpy bassline and grippingly percussive sound pave a clear path to the dancefloor. Up next, ‘Turn Off The Lights’ is charged with an atmospheric build-up comprising of trippy synths and a hypnotic vocal loop, as full-throttle as expected from a pair expertly versed in creating club weapons.

Casbah 73 makes his Glitterbox Recordings debut with an insatiably funky slice of disco soul ‘Love Saves The Day’. Driven by a soul-filled vocal hook from Angela Goode, this timeless jam’s authenticity lies in its rawness, sounding like it’s been ripped straight from a 1970s dancefloor while maintaining a freshness for today’s listeners. This release also features two stellar re-works, as master of the disco edit Danny Krivit provides his funk-fuelled mix that smacks with New York City flare, bubbling keys and slap bass breakdowns to boot. Chicago’s Rahaan also takes on remix duties taking the vintage sounding original and transforming it into a pumping, modern disco cut.

The idea behind the start of Future House Music was to create an online platform for the niche music of future house back in 2014, where fans and artists shared their love for music. The platform organically found more traction, and from there we decided to evolve into a record label in 2015. Fast forward, the independent label has over 300 releases to date and hosts showcase and festival stages across the world, whilst launching the FHM merchandise line. With a team of 5 based in its hometown Rotterdam, Future House Music aims to be at the forefront of electronic dance music, connecting and evolving together with the most exciting talents and artists today. Our mission & vision statement is: creating a world-class house community to champion artists and fans, by setting trends, challenging the status quo, and sharing the passion for house music.
