The Vesica Pisces shape is composed of two circles intersecting each other by their centers. It perfectly represents the dyad, on which the infinite possibilities of creation rely on.
In this EP, different life experiences are depicted emerging from the ambiguous dance of opposites. This alternance gives birth to complex structures harmonizing the apparent chaos.

Knowing how to fly its entire life, the butterfly emerges from the chrysalis and opens its wings for the first time. It's a long way down to the ground below. A woodpecker pecks in the distance. Deep underwater, the clownfish are racing one another through a turbulent coral reef. In the moon factory, breakfast is being served.

Parlons à mots couverts, avec des gestes empruntant la discrétion du pervers… Phil (Polygramme) trace un vocabulaire du non-verbal …une prononciation du techno d’où se dégage une suggestion sans dictionnaire ; Martin (Hooll) médite sur les lois de la Nature à suivre - une ligne qui en croise une autre sans connaître la géométrie qu’elle engendre ainsi ; Fred (Mono-Poly) donne à la poésie une bonne raison de verser dans la criminalité où une mathématique secrète [qui n’en a que faire d’être résolue] peut nous faire arrêter 

Omerta nullement. Dirt on Sun, ce solstice confirme que le silence se savoure. la salive qu’il sécrète servira à ensemencer le vide de sons

l’inquiétude mystifiante - l’étrange étrangeté - les archers se fraient un passage jusqu’à la lisière du boisé pour contempler ces rois incontestés de la plaine sauvage, de ces grands espaces peuplés simplement d’un gazon qui leur confère toute la force et la furie du pas sourd de la horde de leurs sabots . . . ceux qui courent au galop puis trottent pour reprendre leur souffle , ceux-là qui hennissent à s’en claquer les babines 

-Language 

menaçant le fouet sifflant vers nous à une vitesse telle que le froissement de l’atmosphère qu’il pourfend frissonne d'un écho qui nous hypnotise. cicatrices futures, l’apanage de créatures qui foisonnent dans l’espace qui dépasse l’imaginaire aux confins d’une équation de physique quantique prenant vie devant nous 

-Solstice (Hooll) 

le ouaouaron quitte la plénitude de sa marre en raclant sa gorge fatiguée. .ce carnage vocal s’affaire à écarter de nous la froideur d’un paysage où l’éclat est une hécatombe ; ma foi, cette fois, il se prouve qu’il y en ait encore ; pas de l’espoir, plus que ce simple sauvetage à notre portée. . .l’appel d’une voix passagère qu’on accueille à bras ouverts , sans avoir jamais besoin de les refermer 

-Language (Mono-Poly) 

formuler une énigme qui engagera son prisonnier à se livrer tout entier -et ce, volontairement- alors que les lassos se déploient dans les airs comme des hélicoptères. la proie qui se tortille ,prise qu’elle se trouve, d’avoir volée trop près de votre toile… l’abandon éventuel du poisson lorsqu’il s’envole soudain dans les serres d’un aigle ou dans le bec d’un pélican 

-Language (Hooll) 

quand le labeur de cisailler les champs ne suffira plus ,nous trouverons ta caverne scintillante, où tu nous tentes à pénétrer dans les entrailles de la terre, pour nous promener sur tes cristaux géants et être témoin de ta majestueuse persistance à malaxer des pierres que nous croyions mortes .!. et que pourtant tu refaçonnes sans cesse : nos cendres en bijoux

into adventures to investigate ! oh my ! that space from ear to ear to HERE

Where nature’s noises aim to press us

again: that bold embrace, like bark’s clasp on a tree’s

core ‘cause clear is its design to adorn with a cheer our howled fears

[in a call and response fashion] Wonder-

fully birds’ chirps echo behind the veil of the

canopy until consumed is the reunion of nostalgic souvenirs

Such a swirling chant has an irresistible thrust

through delicate junctions of branching algorithms

towards the decaying skins displayed over past summers

Once more maybe we mean to falter

on our way to a door we dare not knock down

beyond which one day stands a stranger / the next no longer

Des voix s’élèvent et se révèlent aussi curieuses que l’oreille qui ère vers elles… on y rencontre le mentor et le mendiant; on y dénote l’indication d’une direction à prendre ou à éviter et la conversation qu’on arrive plus à suivre …ainsi s’inscrit le cri qui se fait écho dans le ravin et le sifflement imperceptible du dernier souffle

static waves and xylophone churn the caves as lesser creatures cower, making room for gigantic majestic singing beasts 

a goblin B-Boy crew takes the dance floor and dances to honour the majestic creatures

highly advanced aliens contribute their own song to the festival of creatures

a massive battle takes place; the maidens escape from the caves into the forest of wonders

the forest creatures begin a new festival to honour the dead, and peace reigns forevermore.

As the name suggests, this was an all vinyl set I recorded with rays of morning sun peeking through the drapes, casting shadows & reflections across the room that subtly danced across the walls of my Laval street apt.

It's a special mix for me personally. I'm happy to be able to capture a moment in the evolution of my sound before I move from the city where I learned it all.
