Ken Scoretz was born 1978, in Vancouver BC Canada.  His love of music was fostered by his parents, Ken and Marie, from a very young age.  "When I was little I would wake up in the morning, come into the kitchen, sit on my parents laps while they were having their morning coffee, and listening 'the oldies' with them.  I listened to every area of music from the 1920's to the 1970's and 80's."

Around age 20  Ken's love of music became a passion for DJing.  "My first love for Electronic music came by way of the late Robert Miles.  His album 'Dreamland' changed my perspective on music.  It wasn't long after that my roommate Shawn Jacobson and I bought a couple of turntables and a RadioShack mixer.  The rest is a blur of raves and after parties for about 5 years, but hey that was the late 90's early 2000's."

It wasn't until Ken got a demo version of Cubase LE 4 in late 2000's that he started to get the idea for making his own music.

Ken spent the next 10 years playing with various version of Cubase in an attempt to make something happen, but with a very demanding work schedule it was just a hobby.  The love for all forms of electronic music, however, never loosened its grip.

Around 2015 things became more real for Ken as time allowed for things like music production and the study of writing this style of music.  Learning how to use all types of Virtual Studio Technology became a weekly endeavor that he thirsted for by the end of the work week.  "I had one day a week to myself for studying and writing so I used it as wisely as possible."

From around 2017 on things like ease of work flow and writing just became a way of life.  "I get kinda grumpy when I can't work on music for a while (laughs)."

Currently in the beginning stages of its life, Ken's label ALM Records will bring about another chapter in this musical journey, making it easier to get music to as many souls as possible.
